@Jimvesterstallone The rendering "church of God" would mean that it is God who died and shed blood on the cross. This would contradict other bible verses that teach God is Undying(1Ti 6:16; 1 Timothy 1:17) and that God is a spirit (John 4:24), has no flesh and bones (Lk. 24:36-39), and therefore has no blood. It is the Lord Jesus Christ's blood, which washed the members of the Church of their sins (I Pt. 1:18-19; Rev. 1:5).

@boltingpuppies In Jhn 1:18 No one has ever seen God(father)..Jesus was seen by man, so who is this person in Isaiah 40:3; John 1:23? Well, it was not the person of God the father(LORD), who came by his spirit in his son Jesus(Luk 2:25-30)
@boltingpuppies Acts 20:28..to care for the church of God which he obtained with the blood of his own Son. Jesus said, God(father) is spirit, so he does not bleed, because he is not a creature(man) like his only son(man). God the father is not a creature(man), he creates time and space for his creatures(Jesus the man). All creation, nor a man can contain God the father(1Ki 8:27..The heavens, even the highest heaven, cannot contain you...).
@boltingpuppies Jesus is not the one God the father who is the LORD, he is one. You don't have Jesus belief about who his God is(Mar 12:29 Yeshua answered, "The greatest is, 'Hear, Yisra'el, the Lord our God, the Lord is one:). You have three LORDS and three GODS. I'm adding? Father=God. Son=God. Spirit=God=Three Gods. Father= LORD. Son=LORD. Spirit=LORD=Three LORDS. Now you really got me confused with your theology.
@StuffOfIndignation If your'e going to quote me, quote me correctly! This seems to be a pattern with you and quoting. I said:

There is ONE YHVH.

Isaiah 9:6

Likewise we must accept what YHVH says about Himself in Scripture, whether it makes us comfortable or not. We will be mighty uncomfortable later on if we do not. Bless you.
@boltingpuppies The LORD God of Israel did not come in the flesh as you affirm, he sent his son in the flesh to die for our sins, was then raised up by the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob(Act 3:13-15). Jesus is not the LORD God in flesh as you affirm, you speaking against God's spirit(1Jo 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:).
"Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the CHURCH OF GOD, which HE hath purchased WITH HIS OWN BLOOD.
@boltingpuppiesYou have three LORDS plus three Gods, that is not scriptural, it's comes from the imagination of your mind(your opinion) because you can't reconcile scrip. Your God is the trinity from the nations and not from Israel.
@boltingpuppies Jhn 1:14..made(G1096-ginoma-to become) Jesus was created by his father's spirit in the womb of his mother. Jhn 1:3..made(G1096-ginoma-to become)..God the father by his spirit created all things through his son. Jesus is not equal with his father since the father is the only life source(creator) out whom proceeds first his life giving spirit to give life to his son(2Cr 13:4 For to be sure, he was crucified in weakness, yet he(Jesus) lives by God's power(life)...
Ameyn! It really comes down to Yirmyahu (Jer) 31:31-33 & Hebrews 10:16. ALL who claim to be in covenant w/ YHVH must believe in the One He sent, repent - then the Torah (G-d's instructions for Holy & righteous living) is written on their heart. One cannot pretend to be in covenant w/ G-d while rejecting His Torah ("law"). It's a marriage contract w/vows! 1 Yochanon 3:4 tells us that sin is transgression of Torah. No Torah, no sin, no need for sacrifice. May we awaken to truth!
The lawless love their freedom and democracy where man sits on the throne and Not God. They have a form of religion but deny the word of God by their deeds.
Jesus still obeys his father's ten commandments because he is subject unto the will of the word of his father. Meaning Jesus has no other god before his father-Exd 20:3 "You shall have no other gods before me(referring only to the father). My God is the God of Jesus, my father is the father of Jesus. Jesus is not my God, he is my Lord(Phl 2:11) and Savior, and one of my brothers in father God's family-Jhn 20:17.
@StuffOfIndignation - I would strong suggest you read your Scripture more carefully regarding who Christ claimed to be. It is very important that you know Him. As He said,
"I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be." - John 8:24
The Jews knew who Christ was claiming to be.
"We are not stoning you for any of these," replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God." - John 10:33
@richardperry2 Who did Jesus claim to be? The one who alone is undying and uncreated, no, he claimed to be the son of God, the anointed one who was sent by his father from above to be our Savior by dying for our sins-1Jo 4:14; Jhn 3:16.
@StuffOfIndignation He IS the Son of God...He is the Son of Man too. What does that mean?
Son of Man = also man
"Only begotten" Son of God = also God :)
He is the *only begotten* Son of God...God in flesh.
"Philip said to Him, 'Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.'
Jesus said to him, 'Have *I* been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, "Show us the Father"?'"
@Jimvesterstallone Which theos are you referring to? Since there are a lot of theos. Because i know of only one theos that is unbegotten and undying who did not come in the flesh, but sent his only son to become one of us to die for our sins.
@Jimvesterstallone Not that Jesus was the father, but he was revealing his father who was in him by his father's spirit. Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.
@StuffOfIndignation "Philip said to Him, 'Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.'
Jesus said to him, 'Have *I* been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip?'" -John 14:8-9
Listen, if someone walked up to me today and asked me to show them the Father, I would not say, "Have I been with you so long and you have not known ME?" That would be the height of arrogance...unless I was Him. Jesus was claiming to be God here in no uncertain terms.
Richard, I loved this. I just shared your video "I Follow Jesus" on another website last night, oddly enough! Much love to you in our Yeshua, dear brother. :)
@richardp Jhn 10:29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater(Jhn 14:28..for the Father is greater than I.) than all..Now, are we all not one with the father in Christ?-Jhn 17:21-22. Did the Jews really know who Jesus was? Didn't Jesus say, you are gods-Jhn 10:34-36 what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, 'I am God's Son'? Psa 82:6 I said, 'You are "gods"; you are all sons of the Most High.
"Declare and set forth your case; Indeed, let them consult together. Who has announced this from of old? Who has long since declared it? Is it not I, the LORD? And there is no other God besides Me, A righteous God AND a Savior; There is NONE except Me."
"And Thomas answered and said to Him, 'My Lord and my God!'
Jesus said to him, “Thomas, ***because you have seen Me, you have believed***. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” -John 20:28-29
Jesus did not rebuke Thomas for calling Him God...in fact, He accepted the title and even said others will be blessed who believe the same thing without seeing.
"Declare and set forth your case; Indeed, let them consult together. Who has announced this from of old? Who has long since declared it? Is it not I, the LORD? And there is no other God besides Me, A righteous God AND a Savior; There is NONE except ME."
@boltingpuppies You speaking against God's spirit, were in the bible does it say that i have to believe that Jesus is my God to be saved? That's just your opinion, it is not scriptural.
No Jesus is not my God, he is my Lord and Savior. I have only one God the father i don't have two Gods like you do. My God is the God of Jesus, Abraham, Isaac, and Israel. You have strange Gods before the father.
@StuffOfIndignation I think your missing my point. You said Jesus was your Savior but not your God. I am pointing out that this is impossible because YHVH says that there is only ONE God and Savior, Himself.
I have ONE God, YHVH. Yeshua is YHVH in flesh. The Spirit is also YHVH. The Father in Heaven is also YHVH. There is only ONE YHVH.
You should be careful saying my God, Yeshua, is a strange God. Study the words of John the Baptist in the prophets and gospels.
@boltingpuppies No, I'm not missing your point, i know what you are talking about. Did you read the scrip i posted? Only God the father is the only Savior through Jesus-he was made a Savoir by his father to reconcile us by the death of his son-Rom 5:10. Hbr 10:5..but a body hast thou(father) prepared me(Jesus): Jhn 1:14 And the Word was made flesh..(by his father spirit). The father alone can't be begotten(created), Jesus was created in the womb of Mary by the spirit of his father.
@boltingpuppies Isa 45:21..Was it not I(father), the LORD? And there is no God apart from me(father), a righteous God and a Savior; there is none but me(father).
Jud 1:25 to the only God(father) our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.
"Simon Peter, a bond-servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have received a faith of the same kind as ours, by the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ"
@StuffOfIndignation A friend sent this to me just a little earlier and I just sat down to watch it. I felt it was delivered to me to share with you from the Father. I am not your enemy.
@richardperry2 Do you subscribe to replacement theology? I believe Sha'ul was speaking of the Jews in particular in that passage. We cannot and should not believe we are Jews. There's still a delineation between Jew & non Jew. In scripture it says we're grafted in to the nation of Israel but we're never called "Jews". We're being made in to one Body. In several places, Sha'ul points out the differentiation between Jews & non Jews which he called gentiles whether followers of YHVH or not.
@richardperry2 What I'm asking is - do you blieve that the "church" has replaced Israel - His chosen people...to the Jew first, then the gentile etc...? The answer above doesn't answer this question. The Bible also doesn't say that we are all Jews. It says He will make one new man from Jew & gentile, not that He will make all gentiles "Jews".
@BornInTzyon "Therefore remember that you, *once Gentiles* [not anymore] in the flesh..that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the *commonwealth* [politeia - "citizenship"] of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise..*But now* in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ..Now, therefore, you are *no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens* with the saints and members of the household of God" -Eph2:11-19
@Jimvesterstallone Are you implying that the nation of Yisrael are "Jews" and that we are grafted in to Yisra'el therefore we become "Jews"? Shaul clearly made distinctions between Jews & gentiles (even those who had been rafted in. It never says that gentiles (the nations) are going to be made in to Jews. It says Jew & gentile will be one new man in Mashiyach - all grafted in to the natural olive tree which is Yisra'el. What I was really asking him was if he believed in replacement theology.
@BornInTzyon I'm not really implying anything, I was just letting the Scripture speak. I do not believe we replace the nation of Israel. I don't consider myself anything but living for Christ, a Christian, dead to the person I was. But at the same time I recognize this Ephesians passage as saying that I am a fellow citizen of Israel now, which I think is incredibly cool. The laws for Israel apply to me.
@BornInTzyon I know you are not speaking toward me but I wanted to interject this comment.
I am grafted into the Olive Tree (Israel) whose root is Yeshua. Sometimes other tribes besides Judah were called Jews, it was a term for Judah and Benjamin as well as those from the other tribes who had come back from Samaria to cling to the truth and worship in Jerusalem. There was Israel/Samaria (worshipped two cows) and there was Judah/Jerusalem who worshipped YHVH (not necessarily Judah Jews).
@boltingpuppies Shalom & thanks.I agree. In Esther, Benjaminites are called "Jews". Both Benyamin & Yehuda were from the southern kingdom, Yehuda, Naturally they were called Yehudim. The Yehudim came back to Israel 1st & in greater numbers than the northern kingdom once they began trickling back. Yehudim no doubt made up the majority in Yisra'el, leaving the umbrella of "Yehuda" over everyone. We're all grafted in the Olive tree, Yeshua, yet there is still a distinction according to Sha'ul.

Isaiah 40:3
"The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, "Prepare ye the way of YHVH, make straight in the desert a highway FOR OUR GOD"."
John 1:23
"He (John the Baptist) said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias."
The Lord in the Prophet Isaiah is YHVH our GOD.

Yeshua is YHVH God in flesh who died for you and for me.
Matthew 1:23

StuffOfIndignation 11 months ago
@StuffOfIndignation - I would strong suggest you read your Scripture more carefully regarding who Christ claimed to be. It is very important that you know Him. As He said,
"I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be." - John 8:24
The Jews knew who Christ was claiming to be.
"We are not stoning you for any of these," replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God." - John 10:33
richardperry2 11 months ago 8
@richardperry2 Who did Jesus claim to be? The one who alone is undying and uncreated, no, he claimed to be the son of God, the anointed one who was sent by his father from above to be our Savior by dying for our sins-1Jo 4:14; Jhn 3:16.
StuffOfIndignation 11 months ago 2
@StuffOfIndignation He IS the Son of God...He is the Son of Man too. What does that mean?
Son of Man = also man
"Only begotten" Son of God = also God :)
He is the *only begotten* Son of God...God in flesh.
"Philip said to Him, 'Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.'
Jesus said to him, 'Have *I* been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, "Show us the Father"?'"
Jesus rebuked Philip 4 his question.
Jimvesterstallone 11 months ago
@Jimvesterstallone Which theos are you referring to? Since there are a lot of theos. Because i know of only one theos that is unbegotten and undying who did not come in the flesh, but sent his only son to become one of us to die for our sins.
StuffOfIndignation 11 months ago

@richardperry2 Richard don't be so easily deceived. Why did Jesus teach us to pray starting with "Our Father..." then? Was he praying to himself?

@richardperry2 Amen Richard. Also, we cannot call Yeshua Savior without calling Him God.
Isaiah 45:21

@StuffOfIndignation Jesus is Thomas' Lord AND God. :)
God bless you.

@StuffOfIndignation If Yeshua is not your God, He is not your Savior either. Only YHVH (Yah Saves) is our God AND Savior, there is not other.
Isaiah 45:21

@boltingpuppies You speaking against God's spirit, were in the bible does it say that i have to believe that Jesus is my God to be saved? That's just your opinion, it is not scriptural.
No Jesus is not my God, he is my Lord and Savior. I have only one God the father i don't have two Gods like you do. My God is the God of Jesus, Abraham, Isaac, and Israel. You have strange Gods before the father.
StuffOfIndignation 11 months ago
@StuffOfIndignation I think your missing my point. You said Jesus was your Savior but not your God. I am pointing out that this is impossible because YHVH says that there is only ONE God and Savior, Himself.
I have ONE God, YHVH. Yeshua is YHVH in flesh. The Spirit is also YHVH. The Father in Heaven is also YHVH. There is only ONE YHVH.
You should be careful saying my God, Yeshua, is a strange God. Study the words of John the Baptist in the prophets and gospels.
boltingpuppies 11 months ago 2
@boltingpuppies No, I'm not missing your point, i know what you are talking about. Did you read the scrip i posted? Only God the father is the only Savior through Jesus-he was made a Savoir by his father to reconcile us by the death of his son-Rom 5:10. Hbr 10:5..but a body hast thou(father) prepared me(Jesus): Jhn 1:14 And the Word was made flesh..(by his father spirit). The father alone can't be begotten(created), Jesus was created in the womb of Mary by the spirit of his father.

@StuffOfIndignation Your adding brother. The passage says LORD or YHVH. There is only one God and Savior, YHVH. Yeshua is YHVH in flesh.

Spirit = YHVH
There is only ONE YHVH and He is God, Lord, Savior, King of kings and Lord of lords.

circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit Romans 2:28-29
All the Family of Yahweh - are Jewish - by the Spirit.
richardperry2 11 months ago 4
@richardperry2 Do you subscribe to replacement theology? I believe Sha'ul was speaking of the Jews in particular in that passage. We cannot and should not believe we are Jews. There's still a delineation between Jew & non Jew. In scripture it says we're grafted in to the nation of Israel but we're never called "Jews". We're being made in to one Body. In several places, Sha'ul points out the differentiation between Jews & non Jews which he called gentiles whether followers of YHVH or not.
BornInTzyon 11 months ago
@BornInTzyon - My answer is above.
richardperry2 11 months ago
@richardperry2 What I'm asking is - do you blieve that the "church" has replaced Israel - His chosen people...to the Jew first, then the gentile etc...? The answer above doesn't answer this question. The Bible also doesn't say that we are all Jews. It says He will make one new man from Jew & gentile, not that He will make all gentiles "Jews".
BornInTzyon 11 months ago
@BornInTzyon "Therefore remember that you, *once Gentiles* [not anymore] in the flesh..that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the *commonwealth* [politeia - "citizenship"] of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise..*But now* in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ..Now, therefore, you are *no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens* with the saints and members of the household of God" -Eph2:11-19
Jimvesterstallone 11 months ago
@Jimvesterstallone Are you implying that the nation of Yisrael are "Jews" and that we are grafted in to Yisra'el therefore we become "Jews"? Shaul clearly made distinctions between Jews & gentiles (even those who had been rafted in. It never says that gentiles (the nations) are going to be made in to Jews. It says Jew & gentile will be one new man in Mashiyach - all grafted in to the natural olive tree which is Yisra'el. What I was really asking him was if he believed in replacement theology.
BornInTzyon 11 months ago
@BornInTzyon I'm not really implying anything, I was just letting the Scripture speak. I do not believe we replace the nation of Israel. I don't consider myself anything but living for Christ, a Christian, dead to the person I was. But at the same time I recognize this Ephesians passage as saying that I am a fellow citizen of Israel now, which I think is incredibly cool. The laws for Israel apply to me.
Bless you.
Jimvesterstallone 11 months ago
@BornInTzyon I know you are not speaking toward me but I wanted to interject this comment.
I am grafted into the Olive Tree (Israel) whose root is Yeshua. Sometimes other tribes besides Judah were called Jews, it was a term for Judah and Benjamin as well as those from the other tribes who had come back from Samaria to cling to the truth and worship in Jerusalem. There was Israel/Samaria (worshipped two cows) and there was Judah/Jerusalem who worshipped YHVH (not necessarily Judah Jews).
boltingpuppies 11 months ago
BornInTzyon 11 months ago
@BornInTzyon I agree there is a distinction in the flesh.

@keksinnot Hey kek!!! :) Well we can know this for sure:
"The sabbath was made for *man*, and not man for the sabbath" -Mark 2:27
WHO was the Sabbath made for? If you are a human being, Jesus said the Sabbath was made for you.
Here is another one:
"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of *man*." -Ecclesiastes 12:13
Are you a human being? Then your duty is to fear God and keep His commandments.
Be blessed brother! :)
