I love these pieces, and though I sometimes prefer faster tempi, your playing is very nice, with many colours! A pity you didn't record more of them...
@pianopera I thought of the 3rd one as a very grumpy old man.I think Irina played the third a little faster but she had the crispness in the left hand but the others were her speeds.
Gorgeous! The humor of Prokofiev, so rarely heard, comes through. I've been trying to convert a friend to classical music. I'm going to send this to him. Maybe his children will like it.
@GerryRains1946 thanks. This is the only audio I pocess on CD.The rest went on tape. But much of it is worth burning.except one Brahms Intermezzo and Schumann Carnaval.I can get them put on CD.
It is remarkable how gentle touch of spring in some plays and children's spontaneity. But I do not know who was actually Prokofiev. I think he was very different, even opposite, contrary to himself. And this is natural.

Thank you for sharing! Wonderful playing! I'm quite tired of Prokofiev being interpreted as rough and aggressive... You definitely go for the *other side* - lyrical, humorous, warm and gentle. Somehow I hear *loneliness" in your playing... Just superb!
Very expressive Prokofiev, thank you!
