I met and talked to Annie in 2008 just outside Indianapolis, Indiana at a gig. It was interesting that she was not feeling well at the time but performed anyway. She had this very nasty attitude toward the crowd - (the people who make her rich). That bothered me.....a lot.

I ended up leaving her dressing room with one less "hero".

STING was on the same bill and I spent time talking to him after the show also (a friend PAID a LOT of money so I could see AND meet both these "stars" on my birthday - this was not free) Sting ....WHAT A GREAT GUY! Warm, engaging, funny and humanitarian. Annie acted like.....Cher - a diva, self centered and temperamental.

(Sound like Cher again?) She is a "me" person and can NEVER understand a differing point of view apart from hers, an ultra socialist.

She's a very rare talent. That said, she's totally disturbed. Perhaps that is what I find intriguing about her. ( I also find her stunning video visual effects fascinating!)

Never before bitten by celebrity, I was stunned by her extraordinary talent, something I had never felt for any other. All knowledge of her as a person is cumulative over the years - bits & pieces.

Somehow I had it in my mind that she was strong, independent & doing it her way.

When I met her, the bubble burst - a cocky "Diva". Sorry. That's all I have.
