It's not expensive at all to get a mk3 VR... I got mine with 78,000 miles, with a cupkit and audi wheels on it btw, for 5600 dollars. The interior was mint, and the paint was great except for faded bumpers, which I replaced anyway. They are a dime a dozen, you just have to put the money into maintaining a 10+ year old car. (3 grand for timing chain, seals, clutch, and coolant hoses.
I got my 98 gti vr6 with 120 000kms year and a half mint condition inside and out for 9000 and worth every penny and since i rebuilt the tranny and stage 3 racing clucth and full exhaust. Im gonna put a video up soon
just to clear some things up thats my friend driving my car, first time he drove or was in it and dint know how fast they relly were, being a vw and sounding like that i can easly see how he could have thought it would do 4.5, my new times at cayuga are 15.1 on stock engine, soon to be bosted and totaly built, so hopfly 400+hp, so for everyone that hears the 4.5s thats him never driving a vr stock.........

Well i just traded my 04 r32 like 4 weeks ago for the new 08 r32. I am going to post some videos my self. You have to check out my 02 2.0 golf, it was a head turner when people saw it past the streets here in NY.

A8 rims??? Thats a nice looking Golf. I notice the little things... shaved door moldings, shaved hatch, boser hood (not digging the intake scoop though), and the body kit all look pretty sweet. Keep it looking nice man!
