Reed is a great safety, but he is not playing as a strong safety. There is a slight difference. I would have to say that reed and Polamalu are on an equal level. Reed smells a ball like no other, and Troy makes plays consistently. And if not for that wierd call at the end of the Chargers game, he would have 8 INTs on the season, as well as a TD return.
