It was a song of Little Richard which was the very first music I heard in my life when I was a toddler way back in the early sixties (my older brother had recorded it on tape). My parents told me I was jumping around in my little baby bed even though I wasn't able to walk at that time! Man you sure know how to make people stand up and jump with joy!

About Little Richard, I think God wanted all races together in the early 50's and allowed Little Richard and Chuck Berry to create Rock and Roll to help people to get along with one another.

you cant buy talent. talent always wins and shines through. This guy is awesome and will be remembered as long as music can be played and long after all the talentless crap has faded into history. You just have to look at him and you smile. Then you hear his tunes and it makes you feel great even if your pissed off. This music makes even the stiffest dancefloor avoiders wanna jump about n rock.

@ntvtunesfamousk but He didnt evolve like the Stones or the Bealtes though,and look after his copyrights on everything(he wont even allow photos at his concerts these days as a result) its a fate that happened most Rock&Roll Stars apart from Elvis.Who evolved but was still never as good or vibrant as his 50's recordings.

@ntvtunesfamousk Well, have you ever heard Little Richard do a ballad? Don't get me wrong the man is off the charts talented but he was not versitile. He did what he did best and yes, no one did it better. I think he was a little too "out there" for the average American in the 50's. We have since grown, fear not.

Little R came out a year after Elvis produced his first revolutionary Rockabilly records. EVERYONE listened and learned. Richard never had anything even close to a hit (R&B or otherwise) before 1955
