If she recorded it a day or two earlier then she would have had time to re-do it regardless of what circumstances arose. If your boss says he wants the report on his desk by Sunday at midnight, and you tell him you had "technical difficulties" you're fired.

I think it's all good as long as a new songs comes soon. The only downfall is two new songs in a week span, you might break YouTube's weekly awesome level.
