@exterminasation It depends on how hard you push the analog stick. Like when you push the analog stick hard to do a smash, do the same to Samus' missiles and you get a super missle.

There were so many opportunities for Samus to kill Rob but he instead opted to spam missiles. A well placed up tilt or down tilt could have killed Rob way before he got to 200%. And some more z-airs could have helped his game a lot.

If you think this samus is all about projectiles just look at 3:11 - 3:16. A beautifully timed Meteor Smash, followed by a Meteor Smash comboed by a Mule Kick which almost won her the game. This person is deadly up close with samus' too.

Samus' best tactic IS to use her projectiles to keep the other player away and rack up damage. When we play at like this at home friends call us cheap spammers. But if you played a competitive match wouldn't u use the best tactic to win? People wouldnt say "let her progress because she lost with style and flair".

not really, he did not utilize his zair to its fullest extent, he didnt use bombs much, and he didnt even use the dsmash or dtilt. all he did was missile spam, he didnt have much variety at all, and yes i do realize the date was fairly early on. if you wan to see a GREAT samus look up tudors videos, such as his new one "i know its not fair...it dair"

OK after a little while the missile thing was getting old. But ROB found a way around and eventually just obliterated samus at close range. The samus player was great at spamming, but that is about all, cuz when rob got close she just ran, and soon was defeated.

That was some INCREDIBLE ise of the Homing Missles!!! I thought I was pretty good with Samus. I didn't know you could spam those Missles so well. At the end there, f-air might have saved that Samus user instead of the Homing Missle. Not sure but that was a great match you had there!

Actually, the purpose of Homing Missiles is to hinder your opponent. It doesn't matter if the attack power decays. It only does 5% damage. Yet, it's slow, so that even dodging it can become difficult.

R.O.B was the single most important thing for the nes. people at the time the nes came out were not playing video games, and so retailers didn't touch any video game systems so Nintendo made rob and two games to sell the nes as a 'robot gaming system', they threw away the idea after they got it sold though because it did suck ass lol.

Samus played really nicely but as said Samus just didn't take the risk when had the chance. For me the Smash Bros. series are games that you need to take risks because if you don't you'll never know how good are you. ROB has good defense and offense but Samus overpasses them. Samus air back kick and smash down are killers but of course when used right but ROB just doesn't have good aerials. Samus is my number 1 character because she has excellent long and short range attacks.

The person playing Samus definitely loves to play it safe...perhaps a little too much. Not enough attention was spent on scoring the KO when R.O.B. could have been killed with a single well-timed attack. However, this video certainly shows Samus's potential in Brawl. I, for one, am quite impressed.

ROB as good aerial game, but not so good that Samus can't stand up to it. Samus had plenty of time to approach ROB on the ground and in the air to get an easy kill, but didn't go for it.

Rob has a tremendous amount of smashes and moves that are very safe and effective. Expectm any ROB's to sidestep (spotdodge, whatever) then dsmash. His fair has much better range than what it looks like. Much of my strategy concerning ROB is if I am able to keep them off the ground and force them to recover, is to constantly land hits and make them waste their booster little by little.

This particular ROB was no different aside from nairs, Samus did well but needed to be more offensive.
