Nike is for posers, The first video with low top skate shoes was Blind Video Days, and they were thrift store shoes, this is in 91 when the first baggy pants came about and the hip hopsters and teeny boppers were still in diapers. Nike had nothing to do with skating back then, but that video (along with the beastie boys) brought Adidas and Puma back onto the shelves.
