UW is my top pick! I also applied (And got into) Colorado State U, Purdue U, Carroll College, Westminster College, and Eastern Washington U (As my back up). You have NO idea how excited I am to get out and go to college. Hope I end up in Seattle :) My major is creative writing and french I think I'll get in.....hopefully! I wish you the best of luck!
Don't think you have to go to college to get anywhere in life. Look at bill gates, Walter Disney, the founder of Mary Kay. Those are just a few people that never ever went to college or if they did they dropped out. Some of those people didn't even finish high school!
Oh, and 16 years of Vet school-- That sounds about right! I have Pre Vet friends here and they are like SO stressed about where they are going to Vet school...and apparently in their Pre-Vet orientation class our professor, Dr. Spiro, told them that they probably should change majors because it is such a competitive field... So yeah, good choice in terms of going with psych. :)
I'm sure Fresno State (I attend Fresno State, I'm a junior) has a great Psych program, but you probably won't like Fresno... I have a love/hate relationship with it, hah. But Univ. Seattle Washington sounds like a great fit for you. :)
