Its great that ppl enjoy this show so much, but really what is the purpose of repeating the jokes made in your comment. If you can't think of something to type just don't, for the sake of those who actually want to hear the jokes delivered with the timing they were meant have and not to read them and be left waiting.
I kind of like the idea of doing Christmas(ish) stuff with different panels so they get more than two guests for the special. I wonder if they got double fees for that appearance. Nice little Christmas gift for the comedians from the BBC.
Celtic Woman did their Christmas album in the middle of July so why not these guys doing it then as well? I dont think I would be too surprised to find out many people and groups did this as a regular practise.
i only watch these on youtube, so dont tear me to pieces because i dont know, but dont they record these during the winter and air them during the summer?

No they record them a day or two before airing them. They're topical, so they are always talking about that weeks main news stories.
