@SwordGames Just be sure you grab an unofficial patch and install it before playing. Just use Google and you'll find one. If you don't, the game will bug out and crash before the end.

@SwordGames Pressing Z sends the game into third person mode. Depending on the weapon you use, you will be in third or first person. (melee third, ranged first)

No, there's nothing like that in this game. Turning others into vampires is based on a completely different storyline from bite-to-turn vampire stories. The only way to turn everyone into vampires is through cheating or bugs, but they're not going to run about biting anyone. In fact, you'll be lucky to see any vampires biting beyond your personal feeding unless you count a ghoul feeding on your blood. That's different, though.

That's a pretty simple one... just drop down the console and type "give item_w_sheriff_sword". You can't get unless you cheat. It's only worth the amusement value for the sheer size.

In this particular instance, cheating. You can, however, get the flamethrower from Mercurio near the end of the game if you're nice to him... and ask about it as well.

I don't consider after the Giovanni portion of the game to be "early" in the game. It's quite near the end. Before that you have to cheat to get the flamethrower. It's available from Mercurio and Fat Larry, or can be picked up from the Hallowbrook Hotel in patch 1.2 or from the Society of Leopold in patch 2.3. Personally, I don't think any of these are all that "early" in the game... they're "near the end."

Lemme rephrase that last part. Activision ate up so much of the revenue from sales that they allowed Troika games to go under.

Say they sold 100,000 copies through activision and went broke. Instead if they released it through steam and sold only 25,000 copies, they would have made a profit and would still be making games.

The develelopment team stayed on three weeks after they had been laid off to complete the game to version 1.2 before the official release.

Sadly, both Magus260 and JSan272 are wrong. There are deeper and more dark reasons behind why Troika eventually went out. The basic truth of the matter is that they were forced to produce too fast, creating bug filled games that caused idiotic publishers to dismiss them as B rated game designers. Humanity is based on how low it goes. It's a take from the table-top game. The lower it gets... the more heinous your crime has to be to go lower. The game makes it hard to get to no humanity with just killing innocents... I think by the time you hit three humanity you need to commit a mass murder act for it to go lower. Mass murder would be more like bombing a building full of people. The best way to get lower is just to go to the quests where you lose humanity if you do them a certain way.
