This songs been stuck in my head for the past 2 days I was volunteering at my Church today and yesterday sorting and handing out bags of food to homeless and less fortunate people. Cause of the season. It makes me feel good. In June I'm going on a week long mission trip with my Church to help people who really need it in Delware. I'm 12 and I can do this. Most people here are alot older then me. YOU can make a difference too. I'm just doing a small part in a job thats going to last a life time.

in highschool my parents kicked me out at the age of 14 i lived with a friend whos parents were pedos (luckily not to me) at 18 i lived in a van outside a factory i worked at, i joined the army and got out in 09 where my father in law promised us a place to stay kicked me and my wife and 1 year old daughter out and we lived in my f-150 i know hardship i can tell you alot more but thats for another time. god will help you through always. never lose the faith

You know what I've had a recent epiphany sort of thing I know what its like to feel alone I hope that I never will be again but some peoploe just don't understand I thought of ending it all more than once but every time I tried something held me back now thinking about that I get filled with shame because I had actually thought of leaving the people I love all alone to miss me and they would never know why I had.
I watched this song withmy friend and she started crying. I asked her why and she said, "U don't understand, I was going to jump off the High Level Bridge tonight. My dad makes me get drunk and high on drugs every night and then have sex with him. He has gotten me pregnant 7 times and then made me get an abortion." I called child services and now she is stronger than ever. I was so happy for her but recently she was rejectedfrom a college and cheated on and she actually did jump.

I can tell you, with complete and utter honesty that if I had listened to this song this morning, I wouldn't have felt the same way as I did when I just watched it now in the evening because in the middle of the day, a homeless man litterally sat down and told my friend and I his life story. He showed us pictures of his kids and even him as a kid. I really is amazing to listen to and I'll remember him for a long, long time.

When I was 12, my mom and I volunteered for a soup kitchen, I worked in the back chopping vegetables and moving stuff in and out of the freezer, she worked up front serving. She told me about this one lady that came in every day. the lady had been an English teacher, had a nice house, and a pretty good life, but For some unknown reason she set her house on fire while still inside. She was saved but her mind wasn't the same. Not all homeless chose what fate dealt them.
What a tear jerker. I live in a big city with many homeless people, and like most big city people I pretty much ignore or avoid them for safety or believing they are choosing to live that way(I know, it's not all true). This song reminds me that some of them could at one time have been a friend or relative and are good people on hard times
I am part of a homeless ministry and go out and just hang out with them on Monday nights. I have heard this song before, but never really listened to the words and how it relates to the guys out on the streets. It is so true for so many people on the streets.

This is such a great song, I love it so much. It's inspirational, I guess. All my friends call it a suicide song and I just tell them, it's not a suicide song, he never kills himself, it's inspiring, it's a good song. If you don't like this song- it's probably the music and tempo and such you don't like. Not the lyrics and message- and if you don't like the message, then I think you need to see a doctor ;) because it seems to me like you seem suicidal.

or they dislike the song itself not necessarily the message, I know plenty of people that don't like this type of music. But if it is the message they don't like then it isn't necessarily because they are in a bubble of false happiness they could be truly happy, because true happiness does exist. Not everyone has felt alone but that doesn't mean they are denying their feelings they just have been truly fortunate to avoid the feeling of loneliness, so this song isn't for them

I can tell you, with complete and utter honesty that if I had listened to this song this morning, I wouldn't have felt the same way as I did when I just watched it now in the evening because in the middle of the day, a homeless man litterally sat down and told my friend and I his life story. He showed us pictures of his kids and even him as a kid. I really is amazing to listen to and I'll remember him for a long, long time.

When I was 12, my mom and I volunteered for a soup kitchen, I worked in the back chopping vegetables and moving stuff in and out of the freezer, she worked up front serving. She told me about this one lady that came in every day. the lady had been an English teacher, had a nice house, and a pretty good life, but For some unknown reason she set her house on fire while still inside. She was saved but her mind wasn't the same. Not all homeless chose what fate dealt them.

What a tear jerker. I live in a big city with many homeless people, and like most big city people I pretty much ignore or avoid them for safety or believing they are choosing to live that way(I know, it's not all true). This song reminds me that some of them could at one time have been a friend or relative and are good people on hard times

I am part of a homeless ministry and go out and just hang out with them on Monday nights. I have heard this song before, but never really listened to the words and how it relates to the guys out on the streets. It is so true for so many people on the streets.
