  • A billion Blessings of Peace, Love and Light for JOSH FOX and ALL ENVIRONMENTALISTS WORLDWIDE. Let us UNITE to PROTECT the AIR, WATER and SOIL for all generations to come NOW.

  • wow ..great job Josh..i am in Australia and they are fracking crazy here too...one place is near a town called Casino near where i Live...keep up the pressure

  • The whole world is threatened by fraccing and gas mining like Hitler they have gone for world domination like land mines they are drilling gas mines who knows which ones are going to go off.

Like Britain we will have to declare war on them to protect our selves. We will unite we will stop stop them with civil disobedience.

    It is now to act

  • anti-fracking video : Martha Colburn for WBAI radio-

hear martha and rebecca myles and josh fox on WBAI radio JUNE 27th. 5;00 pm

  • @MarthaColburn Frack the gas drill dril dril.

  • Danputih you're the moron. It's not about methane you idiot .. it's about toxic chemicals being used to extract gas from coal/seams. There is no way that you can control where those chemicals go or where the gas may go once released from the sealed coal/shale seams. Those chemicals & the wayward gas pollute water, underground water. WATER IS MORE PRECIOUS THAN GAS which by the way is a fossil fuel as well. You can't drink gas dopey.

  • @gnads1 stop using energy stand up for what you believe in or be a hypocrite that you are.

  • @STORMLORD70 So now Hydraulic Gas extraction is the only energy ey?

What you're saying is CSG energy at any expense? Stop using air you oxygen thief.

  • @gnads1 what is the psi at the bottom of the well shaft? what is the psi of the explosive charge to create the minute fracture? And my last ? is What is the pump pressure in psi of the frac pumps that create 5000 foot fractures thru the shales and rock seams. Common you can answer that you are so smart and know the answer's in math.

  • @STORMLORD70 It's about fracking chemicals & the toxins released after fracking. It isn't slow or natural process, but a hurried man made method that cannot be totally controlled. High-volume hydraulic fracturing uses as much as 2 to 3 million gals of fluid per well. The latter practice is under scrutiny internationally due to concerns about environment, health and safety, & has been suspended or banned in some countries. Fracking equipment operates over a range of pressures & injection rates.

  • @STORMLORD70 @STORMLORD70 It can reach up to 100 MPa (15,000 psi) & 265 L/s (100 barrels per minute) BTW Storm in a Teacup it's Hydraulic meaning it uses fluids under pressure.Explosives aren't used. Hole drilled, apply hydraulic pressure. Fracture Gradient = pressure to fracture the formation at a particular depth divided by the depth. A fracture gradient of 18 kPa/m (0.8 psi/foot) implies that at a depth of 3 km (10,000 feet) a pressure of 54 MPa (8,000 psi) will extend a hydraulic fracture.

  • @STORMLORD70 The process in question is high-volume hydraulic fracturing, used in the completion of tight gas and shale gas wells, high-volume hydraulic fracturing can use as much as two to three million gallons of fluid per well. That's a shit load of water which happens to be more precious than gas.

Even a half smart person like you can look it up. Isn't the internet a marvellous wealth of knowledge? Pity you can't seem to use intelligently.

  • @gnads1 That water goes and gets treated before it goes anywhere in streams. This video is bullshit if this is happening the epa would shut it down. Hey you can make a change burn down your house and live in a mud hut set the way for us. I think you need to learn to make your own clothes after all they are made by machines can you do that since you want a perfect pristine enviroment.

  • @STORMLORD70 That's rubbish & shows how much you know. The Hydraulic Shale/Coal Seam Gas Industry has been exempted from the US Clean Air & Water Acts so the EPA is powerless. Why don't you do some research about the Halliburton Loophole. And while you're at it look up former vice president Dick Cheney who lobbied all his political buddies to get this exemption ... he's a former CEO, President & current director of Halliburton.

  • @STORMLORD70 "Injected fluid is to some degree recovered" .... that means not all & that's not good enough. Bottom line is you should do some more research not just read Industry propaganda. You know when you argue with a fool there are 2 fools arguing.

  • @gnads1 You know what you should go protest in China the largest polluter on earth stand up for the enviroment. China needs the change before american needs to change you cut throat anti american

  • @STORMLORD70 You must still be in nappies they way you go off topic. Anti American now ey? No I'm anti american & australian hydraulic coal/shale seam gas extraction. You should go clean up your own back yard & try doing some constructive research. Where you gonna live when the US is as polluted as China? haha.

  • @STORMLORD70 Oops it already is :-p~~~~~~~~~~~

  • @STORMLORD70 Tell me is Josh Fox anti american?

  • @gnads1 What the hell do you people want become so goddamn weak as a nation so some one else will come and take it go the hell out of my country then if you hate it here go move to north Korea and see how you like it there. Get the hell out of here if you hate america

  • @STORMLORD70 You've just proved what my initial thoughts were about you. ill informed & irrational. What has Korea or China or anywhere other than the places we were supposedly discussing regard CSG? This is a global forum & I don't live in the US. I know people like you think that where you are is the centre of the universe but there's more out there than your little dung heap. Your bankers & economists caused the Global Financial Crisis, but I wouldn't think you would know or understand that.

  • @gnads1 Shut up!! This is a problem that belongs to americans, allright. Whatever had happened here has set a searching for solutions, careful ass don't try to blame our country by not putting more jobs on your shame country, because that was the reason by lost investment in our own land. You are way far wrong of what's going on here, if still the industry gas drilling in Pittsburgh/Pennsylvania/USA needs an ecological development as well is a problem that concern to us. \FO/

    allright

  • @erydiam I beg your pardon but the GFC started in the US & has affected the whole world you isolationist dolt. The companies drilling for CSG in my country are all foreign owned, many American, halliburton is one. In other words what's happened & is happening in your country in regards to CSG is directly related to what's happening in my country. Why don't you grow up & try writing something that makes sense. And I'm not wrong as to what's going on in the US.

  • @gnads1 Political corruption is not unique to developing countries, it’s a worldwide issue you dumbass, as well why in the fuck you don’t make a change and stand in your own country for what you consider is right regarding to the CSG “challenge”, and provide yourself with opportunities for public comment and intervention, because like other natural resource its utilization needs the application of environmental laws, regulation, and enforcement that vary with each location! You're wrong fuck!

  • @erydiam Got someone with better grammar skills to write for you now? Either that or your another multinic troll. Listen bonehead this is not an American site, it's a global site & Josh Fox has made it a Global issue. You haven't got any environmental laws regarding CSG with any teeth. What's more I am standing up against the issue in my country. Politicial corruption is rife in your backyard & you're blind & stupid.

  • @gnads1 So pathetic like a bitch crying when the situation is dire; you dumbass this is happening in America ok, and Josh Fox has just revealed astonishing facts by his shocking film, as well this is about a worldwide energy supply with more pros of development by reducing greenhouse gas emissions though.

  • @erydiam Take a look in the mirror einstein... it's not just happening in America that's the whole point .... you're a s thick as 2 short planks. As for greenhouses gases ... check some facts ... it's not clean & it's not green. In fact air sampling around a condensed area of wells has been shown to be worse polluted than that from motor vehicles in many of your major cities e.g Houston, LA etc. So bozo in my estimations the cons outweigh the pros hands down. There's no pros from CSG.

  • @erydiam Air emissions and pollution:1 group of emissions associated with natural gas development & production, are the emissions associated with combustion. These include particulate matter, nitrogen oxides, sulfur oxide, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide. Another group of emissions that are routinely vented into the atmosphere are those linked with natural gas itself, which is composed of methane, ethane, liquid condensate, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

  • @erydiam The VOCs that are especially impactful on health are benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and xylene (referred to as a group, = BTEX). Health effects of exposure to these chemicals include neurological problems, birth defects, & cancer.

VOCs, including BTEX, mixed with nitrogen oxides from combustion & combined with sunlight can lead to ozone formation. Ozone has been shown to impact lung function, increase respiratory illness, and is particularly dangerous to lung development in children.

  • @gnads1 we have the GBA go and google to know who stand for us...

Fuck you PIG spy alien enemy faggot!!!

  • @erydiam You should be thrown off all internet forums .... you're a complete idiot.

  • Comment removed

  • @erydiam .In 2008, measured ambient concentrations in the rural Sublette County, Wyoming where ranching and natural gas are the main industries were frequently above the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) of 75ppb & have been recorded as high as 125 ppb.

  • @gnads1Just to an enemy terrorist "Idiot faggot" "dog slave smog corporate oil infiltrated anti american" can compare Wyoming facts and spit shit with what is going on here on Pittsburgh/America. He's an alien of poison in harsh times to confuse our developtment as a great nation, when diesel and gasoline pollution from bus/trucks to air toxins from smokestacks have the worst particulate pollution as coke ovens combined to pollute the city.In Usa we have the GBA to fight for what is right\FO/

  • @erydiam God god you're a complete douche nut job ... you're the reason the internet gets such a bad reputation in regards to open forums. Yeah dopey ... development as a great nation? You've been sold out by your greedy 1% rich elite ... who just love redneck radicals like you because you're so easy to brainwash. Thousands & thousands of gas wells have absolutely no harmful pollution affects?. Read some relevant research instead of spruiking Gas Industry propaganda. GBA? haha Game Boy Advance

  • @erydiam Still spewing venom & bile, albeit incomprehensibly. Why don't you get you're literate friend back to write for you or are you on here wasted all the time? haha so video games are only american ey? All made in Japan & China. That's why so many are unemployed, your greedy elite want to exploit cheap asian labour at US citizens expense. Who would want to have power over childish morons like you. You need a good spanking & then sent to bed.

  • @gnads1 You trying to look tough..haha... sprawl whatever faggot anti-american low piece of shit, if over here people has not control yet over the elite, it's because of the turmoil political issue america is dealing with. But I didn't know fags know about video games as well, it was an entertainment developed at the 40's in your loved america though. I really look at you trying to make a point of view but no matter what I flush the toilet dumbass lazy faggot fake ecologist piece of shit!!!

  • @erydiam btw why would you have the arrogant attitude to think that your country is developed & mine only developing? Then again idiots like you think that every country outside the US is a 3rd world country.

  • @gnads1 Sure, still are political issues to resolve as people’s relocation, but discover the fact that it prevents Russia and Persian Gulf countries to dictate higher prices for the gas, again our issue when America is not the only committed savior. So far I never said developed, I said developing countries you lazy sniffing useless ass

  • he's a moron. that hides the fact that methane was in the water long before any of this.. just another lazy-ass wanting to get rich off of fear-mongering.

  • @DanPutih Methane may leach out into the water over eons but not in the amounts along with carcinogens like benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and xylene that are far more concentrated from this man made hurry up. So Dan I'm hiding nothing ... you're just proving you're a brainwashed sheep who may have a vested interest in helping pollute the environment, especially rivers, natural underground & man made water supplies. In fact you pair probably support water fluoridation/poisoning.

  • NatGasNow is a propaganda channel here on youtube set up to fight Gasland, screw em!

  • Now they're starting to frack for oil in Texas. Not just natural gas anymore. The interesting/tragic thing about this development is that Texas is in a drought and fracking requires LOTS of water. Will Texans sell their water for oil? We shall see. But right now it looks like they definitely are.

  • @YERTians Stating to fracking in TX? I hate to tell you this they have been doing so for years. The first time I was on a location when a sand fracturing was in process was the summer of '74. That was in KS, but has been taking place in TX , OK and other states long before that. Yrs it takes a lot of water, should be considered problem free everywhere. Sounds like the casing cement jobs are failing in the shale formations.

  • Lets do what this DADT boy tells us to do-Josh-drag us out into the countryside and re-educate us...what about when we are freezing in the winter? I bet 90 per cent of your followers are gay blades

  • Natural gas is God's gift for the Greater Glory of Mankind, and to NOT drill every possible well would be an affront to God.

We have no choice but to drill, drill, drill the shale until it looks like a heroin addict's arm. Don't you people get it?

P.S. Never trust a liberal with Buddy Holly glasses.

  • Mentioning a gift from God is as nonsense as the scientifically illiterate populations' claim that we are having no significant impact on the earth's environments. 50% of Americans believe the earth is less than 10,000 years old. Scientific illiteracy will be the downfall of the world. I will return that "you" people don't get it. Mocking someone for their appearance regarding their concern for the publics heath suggests the nonsense your supporting. Furthermore, faith is not virtuous.

  • @01AUSMAN, the real scientific illiterates are the liberal fear-mongers who say the sky is falling because Man is putting out a few PPM of CO2. I listen to Hannity, you fool. I don't need no college education.

  • great job Josh!!!

  • This man has so much charisma. Thank God for Josh Fox and all he is doing to help get the word out about this horrible natural gas drilling campaign.

It's an industrial invasion in 34 states. Thanks for being such a great speaker, Josh.
