That must be an incredible, indescribable trip you've done.

@47Ticroc man I'm really glad you enjoyed it. You should do it. Book your train/flight and you're halfway there. Too many people talk about how they will travel but they never take the necessary steps to do so. Booking the transport is the biggest step. Then you can't back out and before you know it you'll be living the dream. I hope you do it mate!

@skatetellthaed hey mate well you are in the best position bro. This is where i went wrong. I finished school and then did a year of uni failing to go to class and stuff... but if I had my time over.. I'd get a full time job straight out of school.. work 6 months and go! I saved up about 17k Aud but you don't need nearly that much.. that's lasted me until now basically.. i've been working over in Edinburgh / London and just doing trips here and there.. even 6k would be a lot for months

@lsclim hey mate I just added some info to the description but basically it says: how I saved hard for 6 months and then when I travelled I did everything as cheap as possible. Example would be couchsurfing or hostels for accommodation (little to nothing.) Transport would be buses (as cheap as possible) as opposed to trains etc. (Other people even hitch, I'm yet to try it). Food wise I eat small. And planning I wing it mainly!

@Awaken9000 you don't need much... backpack it.. so you go as cheap as possible.... hostels everything.. best way... I've met people with a budget of like 15 euros a day... But yeh I still saved up a bit before I originally left and then just worked for bits at a time then kept travelling! goodluck!
