Though I'm not one to burden others with a request, I feel inclined to recommend some tracks from the Ys video game series. Many of its songs (and others Falcom produces) utilize the violin for a range of slow and high paced tracks. "Dreaming" and "Ice Ride of Noltia" (the "Chronicles" version of both) are great examples of some good violin action. There are many tracks I could recommend from the series, since the melodies for many of their songs lend themselves well to the violin.
