if you put a % as your clan tag if your host it will stay a % if not it will turn into a . so set your clan tag to [%] if your host it will stay like that if not it will be [.] :) hope this helped

Another way of telling if you are the host is when u click leave game host migration starts and when it's over then you leave

if you want to know who is the host then at the beginning of the match press back and look at the score board the host will have 4 bars green and everyone else will have red then the connections will go green

thats a lie.. it is when you first get into the game, press back to see the scoreboard. If you have a four bar connection and everyone else is one, then you are host. Generally you'll be the first in the game too.

Say someone on the other team is looking at a doorway and you have host. You run through that doorway, see them, and shoot them when they obviously had the better vantage point. Well the reason you killed them is because you are host. You actually saw them before they saw you because they are connected to the match through you. Hard to explain but basically when you encounter someone face to face you'll see them before they see you. Plus things like faster chopper gunner fire rate.

You need to put your internet filter directly into the phone socket and plug your phone line and modem line into that. The phoneline should not be connected to the phoneline before the filter.

you do more damage as host and have a lag free game. you should try it with gears of war2 in this game being host gives you a HUGE advantage sometime I have about 20 kills and the next game I had 78 (almost only headshots)
