I've never seen anyone using a capo on bouzouki. I'll give it a try myself but it looks really strange to me.

Riala how are you getting that sound what are you playing through to produce that eho.I need to know.Hopefully its not midi and your do string what are you tuning it to.

No midi here. Boss Gt8 pedals with high and low octave. I am surprised no one has noticed the capo on the 5th fret. Tuning is DADG "half violin, half trixordo". With the capo the low note is Nto and you get a bigger range with less hand movement but your have to stretch your fingers more then normal.

Are you using the AER and The Boss GT8 together to get that "Oud" Type of Sound in The Videos?

When I am using any effects, I have the GT8 pluged into the AER and an AKG 414 mic in front of the amp. If I record acoustically, I just have the AKG mic just in front of the bouzouki.

The AER is quite costly. How would you compare that to a Solitaire series 1 or 2?

It is only 100watts so on gigs, I need to line out into a PA. It does not have the same clarity as a Solitaire for bouzouki but it is one of the best accousitc amps for my Violin.

Costas what is an amp you recommend for bouzouki, do you miss the Fender twin?

I miss my fender twin, however I do not miss having to carry it. At the moment I am using AER AcoustiCube 3 which is small and light and also Boss GT8 Pedals. Thanks
