ThLovergirl27 - read the comment I posted to Dariogamer as it meant for you too! Rubberneckin was from the movie Change of Habit - it WAS sung live when he was being filmed by MGM on stage in Vegas. Therefore Rubberneckin could not in anyway be 'too new' for 1969/1970. The video footage montage is made up of clips from TTWII, Aloha and the original 'Change of Habit' movie clip of him singing the soundtrack Rubberneckin...! I have TTWII dvd set & about to purchase ALL the TTWII outtakes versions

Get it into your thick head that Elvis sang Rubbernecking live in 1969 - if you think about it logically rubbernecking was recorded before his Vegas comeback in 1969 - he sang this in Vegas in 1969. As for the video only a newbie wanna be fan would be stupid enough to think we original fans don't know what songs are being sung frm the ttwii footage montage

sorry mate but I have to correct your error - Elvis DID sing Rubberneckin Live in Vegas. You can clearly hear Elvis talking to the audience apologising for having to restatrt the track at a slightly faster pace and the audience's appreciative applause at the end of the track. On top of thos you can also hear Elvis mention the fact the show's being recorded live because they (MGM) are making a movie.... reference TTWII.

@elvispresley11 No, It was made live but there is no video material of it, so with Fantasy video, you can imagine how it would look if there is a material of it. And you can also do a fantasy video of a song that he never performed live on stage and imagine how it would look if he had done the song live. Elvis recorded this song live on 26th of August,1969 in Las Vegas Hilton Hotel :)

awesome FANTASY video. he never purported it to be anything but a fantasy video to everyone saying it's a fake video. i was never aware elvis did this song live. wish he'd of done more songs like this one, such a night and tomorrow is a long time live. while i like the hits from the 50's, i really like some of his songs from the 60's

I thought I read somewhere that Elvis either failed or received a poor grade in music class when he was in school. LMAO!!! I wonder why we never learn who the teacher was??!! Elvis was at his BEST when he was let loose to his own devices. When everyone just got out of his way! And this song and his performance stands the test of time too.
