Remember Christians, the will of God is no Catholic, Protestant,Orthodox, Penticostal, Adventist, JW, Etc. NO DIVISION, Only Christians, holy, helping and sharing instead of buying and selling.
"That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me." (John 17:9-21)
Thus far all you have done is reveal what you don't know. It's better to be silent and thought of as a fool than to speak up and remove all doubt. You have succeeded in removing all doubt...here and on all the other Catholic videos you have left comments.
Inform yourself. A jack chick comic book will not do.
To refute what a person says, that first have to make an argument. You made only a claim. Since you make only a claim, only a counter-claim is needed. If you want something argued against, then provide an argument in the first place.
Another great video Steve!! It reminds me of the song we sometimes sing at the end of Mass which says, "Take the word and love of God with you as you go, and make them grow! Thanks Steve. Love you lots~Suzie
Nice job Steve! I liked the end of the Life Teen Masses. It was: The Mass never ends.Let us go forth in peace and love to serve the Lord. Sadly this has been dicontinued.
Yet another beautiful video, Steve. Yes the message at the end of the mass is a great prayer in itself, for the people, the community of faith. A prayer and/or blessing for a change in lifestyle to go and live in the spirit;i.e., to go love and serve God and love all we meet on our life's journey.
Thank you so much for all you do and continue to do for Jesus and His Church on earth.
Our pastor always concludes with "Mass has ended, let us go forth to love and serve the Lord" to which we reply, "Thanks be to God", and then all: "Amen"
Wow Steve, Thankyou for this Beautiful video. this message about the ending of the sacred Mass is so important! you have surely enlightened my mind. I hope others will appreciate this message as well!
I know some priests/deacons who never say "The Mass is ended..." but just say "Go in peace..." for the very reasons stated in this video.
The Latin, "Ite missa est" is impossible to translate into English. It basically means, "It is the dismissal" but as Steve's video shows, "dismissal" is loaded with missionary imperative in the context of Mass.
I like to think of the dismissal as like Jesus' final instructions before He ascended to Heaven, and thanks to this video, I will contemplate this overlooked aspect of the Mass more now.
Thanks for another thought-provoking video, Steve!
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!"
At 2:03 into the video I thought of the passage "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations,..."
We are to make disciples of all people by showing them Jesus. It is so much easier to do this after receiving Him in the Eucharist. We have to hide ourselves and show Jesus instead.
In your video, you showed many hands reaching for the bread, while singing about the Eucharist. Eucharist is to be unleavened wheat flour and only consecrated hands are to touch It. Novus Ordos make it too common. Please, send don't send me any more videos.
I assume you're objecting to Communion in the hand. Pope John Paul II and Benedict XVI have not forbidden it. It is a matter of personal choice. People have the right to choose until the Pope deigns otherwise.
"having participated in the Eucharistic Presence of Christ, they are now called to go out and make that Presence real and effective in the world." Amen!!!God Bless you Steve, great video...Peace

Nice job, Steve!! I like the end of Mass, too. Although I stopped taking Communion, it is a very comforting place to be. :) Peace...

What more can I say that hasn't already been said?
The Mass has ended, but our vocation is renewed and continues. St. Teresa of Avila said:
"Christ has no body now on earth but yours"
We would do well to remember that.
