Question: Does the BIBLE give us any standards for appearance? Are those who profess to be CHRISTians bound by those standards? Why do we always go to extremes in our debates on this subject. Well my friend - in conclusion to this topic. In which way do you not look like they do? Do you not have sin in your life? The only difference apparently is that theirs is more humanly visual than your own - but again I say to you and to the rest of whom ever wishes to carry on with this conversation - God is the judge and if your "chastisment" is not accompanied by the forgiveness and love of Christ - then I would question its origin, because then it would apparently be comeing from you not GOD

also for someone to be sitting under you would in turn give the impression that you are seated in a higher place than they-but I question your Christian education if you believe that to be true. Once we recieve Christ we are seated at the right hand of the father with Christ-I dont believe you have any further place as it pertains to levels of "highness" as it were for you to go-I love you anyway and I only pray that we can find a way to follow peace with all me as scripture declares HEB.12:14

And futher more-Christ came looking just as those whom he was trying to reach - he did not come looking like a high priest although he was one-God is not looking at your outward appearance-that's our stupidity-God looks at our inward selves and he judges the heart, not the linen. I mean seriously where do we get off telling people what they can look like-thats what gets us in trouble all the time-focusing on peoples problem instead of how we can heal them we focus on hurting them- be serious!!!!

God is looking at the WHOLE man, outward and inward. It's this same attitude that is causing so many of our young men to come to church looking like pimps, and young ladies like 10 cent whores. Yet...we sit back and yell "JUDGE NOT..." Shame!

Greetings Sir - Although I appreciate the comment you posted in response - I must say that I would like to repeat some of what I said - cause maybe you missed it - I said that if your correction does not come with love and some type of effort in aiding them to come out of what they are in - then why say anything? To me when we choose to speak about someone else's issues and not make efforts to heal them using the wisdom, knowledge and understanding of Gods word - then we have missed it-much love

I read what you said, and what everyone else said. Furthermore, I have been hearing what folks have been saying for YEARS. It comes in different packaging, but it always sounds the same, "JUDGE NOT..." I am a "gal" not a "sir" by the way (wink). As a woman, I thought the purpose of wearing make-up was to look as if you are not wearing it. That's what the church mothers taught me...maybe THEY were wrong. (Lord knows they sho' had some POWER though...)

Please excuse the mix-up mam - but as it pertains to the ammount of make-up one wears - the source of the power which we are speaking of, does not come from your make up or lack there of - but rather it comes from GOD which I'm sure you know - so whether she chooses to wear a lot or a little, does not decrease her effectiveness as a vessel of GODS choosing. So with that said -I dont care how you look - if the message you bring changes lives for GODS glory - who am I to judge ones appearance?

You know you preachin! This is the day when you can't say anything about anyone...otherwise folks will say you are judging. "Judge not..." is everyone's favorite scripture. She may have a powerful testimony, but she does look "drag" in THIS video. I agree with you.
