The answer is.. dedicated graphics... You're using a laptop,right? You know,in laptop everything is sliced in half,so it can fit,right? That also cut the capabilites by half...So your specs are not that well for gaming.

@DiiRTiiGaming It's because the default maps on GMOD doesn't have much stuff in it. Less stuff in the map means less lag. Sense the flat grass map just has the ground, of course your going to be able to play on max settings. Pretty much everyone can play Gmod on max settings on that map.
