most of these people at the rally were all republican nutjobs who just wanted obama to fail no matter what he did. Right when someone said "George W. Bush" in the opening statement, lots of people cheered which showed what type of crowd we were having. Also when a Rabbi did the beginning prayer, i heard people in the crowd say racist remarks and say some bad things. This also shows what type of crowd it was.

Try this: Take the expensive VA and Medicare costs that we are incurring in our government now, and multiply it by 6, to expand coverage from 45 million ppl to appx. 300 million.

Let's see... $500B x 6 .... duuuuuh, 3 Trillion? per year?

Danco35, currently with the healthcare system we have now, we are paying trillions of dollers a year which we cant afford. If we switch to obamas health care plan, it will be payed for fully in 10 years and will cost less.

Where's the numbers? All I see is talk. You don't have numbers to back up your claims and neither does Obama or anyone else. The CBO has said it will cost $1.8T, and they are usually low in their estimates.

It it supposed to cost 1.5 trillion nut compared to what we pay a year for health care now (3 tril) that is not that much.

The current fed budget spends $700B for Health and Human Services, not $3T.

The math is ez... You spend an amount of money to care for a number of ppl, if the number of ppl increases, then the amount of money increases.

If this government can reduce the cost of anything, it will be the first time in history.
