  • this made Beethoven turn over in his grave

  • @jchristy89 Actually, I think Beethoven was rather fond of doing this.

  • *stammers incoherently*

    No.it.just.couldno.WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

    Why?!?!??!

A moment of silence. Now, how was this broken beyond repair, BEFORE the video was shot i'm assuming.

  • yaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh

  • piano from china - 400$

    vintage piano - 4000$

dropping a piano out of the window - priceless

  • nice

  • NOOOOO

  • I often ritually destroy items that at one point were very dear to me, but now broken. Otherwise I'd keep them forever.

  • @MrSkeeky

That sounds very familiar to me ( looks over to the "broken stuff"-box on the shelf)

  • RIP: Piano [oct,06,2006]

  • parts could have been sold, or a new assembly, or something creative

  • OK...lol

  • so typical..just like in the cartoon shows

  • There is only one thing to do with useless piano.....

  • lol,it looks just like those cartoons where they drop pianos onto people from buildings...

  • As a piano technician I have encountered a number of pianos that I wish I could have done this to! People get so sentimental about old pianos but some of them really are not worth fixing. People who give away junk pianos are just passing on more headache and heartache!

    Bravo!

  • it depends what make it was, not just the condition. i love old pianos and i bought a c.bechstein upright that is 109 years old, it wasn't in the best condition but the tone was superior to any upright i had ever played. i bought it for £300, had it restored for £3,500 and it has now been valued at £20,000 - a solid investment i think!! and a fine instrument to last a lifetime...

  • @olyrye =( What a sad thing then for you to be a piano technician and wish for the destruction of pianos... I totally understand that bad pianos can be upsetting to deal with (as a pianist), but to throw it out of a window? It is not only dangerous, but for a pianist it is the equivalent of losing a finger... especially if you were attached to the piano at some point.

  • Hi ttay1122,

Reading your comment I assume that you're only thinking about money. I didn't sell it beacause it was broken beyond repair as you could have read in the sidenote. Life is not only about money and I would not sell something which is broken. I think this way of saying goodbye to my wonderfull piano is better than putting it on the corner of the street. For me music is more important than an expensive car and I think you're ignorant to call somebody a dumass without knowing the person.

  • x_x

  • thats a doll house....

  • scandalisée pour de vrai là

  • 0_o

  • LOl

  • wow....

  • it better have been already been broken beyond repair

  • Prick

  • Wicked lol

  • AWESOME.

  • why did you drop your piano like that?
