@Perkii6 i don't think Lampard does stand-out in Chelsea's team. Lampard is a very very good player but i don't think he stands out more than the other very very good players Chelsea have. You can look good playing in a great team, but to look good in a poor team is much more difficult.

I would also add that i have watched Gerrard pull Liverpool through games single-handedly that they had no right to win - i cannot recall many occasions where Lampard, when it mattered most, has done this.

If anything he has put in great performances, week in week out season after season - he has struggled with injury more than lampard but that is nothing to do with consistency. You could say Lampard is less injury-prone than Gerrard, but it's not correct to say he is more consistent (i would say they are equally consistent).
