@mrskillz8910 I feel the same way. Thanks for reminding me. They get a bit rusty at the end of the season. I am going to have to power blast em then paint and seal.
@zootoo63 yeah. i have 2 tir 3's in the rear of mine, and i mounted them using aluminum stock. the bar is about 2 feet long probably and i have the lightheads mounted to each end. i gotta figure out some way to secure the bar, besides zip ties, but they work well enough for now
how expensive were these lights? i started out with some of those cheap ebay lights but i want to upgrade to some good lights. also how does ur battery do while you are plowing while using the strobes, winch, and back light?
They cost about $450..The battery doesnt do too bad...the winch and the headlights together dont go good,m but the leds and winch do great. the intesnity of the leds is minimized when the winch is in use, but you cant really notice. They are still bright when the power is being used by the winch, just not as bright. I also have the crappy ebay ones, but i wouldnt dare put them on my atv...i dont have any strobes..i only have leds so that keeps the power down on the battery which is good.
were*, and yeah, they werent easy, but not hard. If you have experience, which I dont its easy, but since it was my first time, it was moderate...nothing bad though. a couple mistakes here and there, but this is my second year mounting them (i take the off in the summer) and it gets easier each year :)
id suggest getting a person with some wiring backgrounding to help you. It is reletively easy if you have the right idea. some people are born with it and others arent...not saying you arent, just saying I would suggest getting help for your first time :)
Nice set up...im looking to get something like this for my XP 850.....are these lights bright at night cuz the cops give me trouble too. They said "I MUST have somehing visible to other drivers"..anyway looks really good. the other bad thing is that when it comes to wires and installing things...im an idiot haha
