  • very nice rendition. got a question, was that an E augmented chord at the beginning ?

  • Hi Allen I love all of Freddy;s songs, but this one is my favourite, Thank you for sharing it with us. Your Aussie fan Joy

  • Wow. That was Incredible. You have some serious talent. I subscribed to your channel so that I can watch them all.

  • @dannyhann2 Thanks.

  • Just hearing you play it sounds like its been sung. Love it. Thank you.

  • @lkrrepz You're welcome!

  • Good Job, Mr. Dale. Take care, and God Bless.

    The Preacherman.

  • @Preacherman1882 God bless you too, Preacherman!

  • Ah, thank's so fantastic!! I love how you put those thirds in the bass notes.

An I correct in saying that they are thirds?, If so what's the trick with them.

    Thanks!

  • Thanks. I don't know what you mean about thirds, but I just play what I hear from the recordings.

  • Sorry Allen I'm not very clear.

Um sometimes in the bass you'll do a cool, 'd' the 'e flat' to 'e' I was just wondering if there was any sort of trick or relationship between the melody. Sorry i'm proberly making as much sence as a boat in the sky.

  • I just play it like I hear it.

  • Yeah you're the same as me JUST 5X BETTER! Keep it up don't let your talent go. Thanks.

  • thanks

  • Lovely, wished I could accompany you on the bass.

  • Thanks! I'd love to have a Bassist accompany me sometime.

  • Great playing.. I bet you're pretty good with ragtime music...

  • thanks

  • Absolutely lovely! Can you do Aaron Neville's "Tell It Like It Is" on the piano? I would love to hear your version of that! Keep up the awesome music!

  • thanks. I do not know Tell it like it is. Sorry.

  • What's that first chord you play?

  • Cminor with an augmented 5th.

  • Thanks Allen.

  • thanks

  • it is a C augmented 5th and 7th waterfall move I think???

  • Great honky-tonk, Allen. How about Blueberry Hill?

  • I'll play Blueberry Hill next time around.

  • Normally, love to listen to old songs but do not bother who the composer, or singer unless very famous ones. What is DOWN YONDER cos I just got to know this song Down yonder. I am living down in Aus. Is this a song or a country? Do you also play old church songs?

  • Down Yonder is my trademark song. It was written in 1921. Made famous in 1951 by Del Wood of Grand Ol' Opry fame. Del Passed away in 1989. I have DOWN YONDER on my youtube videos. It has over 11,000 hits so far. Thanks for the cudos.

  • Sorry do not know who sang it will find out. The song is somewhat like Wasted days and wasted nights' beat.

  • Soooooooooo happy to see this one Wow!!!!! One of my favourites, how about Let's just kiss and say goodbye?

  • I don't know Let's Just Kiss and say Goodbye. Isn't that a Gladdis Knight and the Pips tune?

  • Oh found out that the title of the song is actually Kiss and say Goodbye, words and Music by Winfred Lovett. 'I had to meet you here to-day----- there is just so man-y things to say, Please don't stop me till I'm through,--- this is something I hate to do......goes the lyrics, Never mind just a suggestion...I'm sure many more you post will be nice

  • OK this IS a Gladis Knight and the PIPS tune. I doubt that it would work for me on the piano tho. Thanks for the comments and keep voting for me! i am hoping that DOWN YONDER will eventually get me some recognition and a JOB!
