im 14, i want to start riding. am i too old to start? or too young? i just became really interested in riding. i would have to get over my fears of crashing, and get in better shape. but i am so interested in this.

@zx9gal I got rid of that bike already... But his first name was Aaron from pensacola. The bike was his buddies. 03 yz250. he's got a cr250. I'm now riding a 08 250sx and my wife has a 07 kx250f. I put her on a 400ex quad but she wanted to get back on a bike. She was on a yz125 before the quad but I know she's loving the 250f. I'm deployed right now so youtube and facebook is all I got. Maybe when I get back me and the wife will see you at the track. We'll have to introduce ourselfs

Hi I'm only 11 and I ride a 125. 2 times a week I'm so sad to go over a jump because I always land wrong or don't get any air I have wiped out at least a hundred times any evise?
hey there! well, just start with jumps that have really good take offs, no chunks in them, you know, just really clean take off and landings... and when you find one like that do it over and over and over! You will build your confidence that way, and then you can build off of that! don't worry, if you don't quit, you will def get there!! :) God bless!
PS: Also follow people better than you, and learn from thier lines and how they are jumping :)
@skullzor88 And, don't forget to grip the bike with your legs. If it start to whip turn the bars straight and get on the gas. It evens out the bike and drops the back. Is things like scrubbers where you only get 3 feet of air, you want to hammer the gas right before you land. The only other thing you need to work on is balance. Only really sit on starts and turns. Everything else you should be standing. I have only been riding about 3 months now. I race too, pushing yourself is the only way.

i ride the same bike. instead of getin a new muffler i had some guys uncork it. it rides about 15mph faster and only cost about $50. i didn't want to get a new muffler because im only 15 and will out grow it

@MsShonalee Hey there! me and my hubby only get to ride on Saturdays usually , but when we do it, it is usually about a 6-8 hour riding day... def try to ride with people better than you so that you can learn from them and follow thier lines... I have gotten a lot faster than this... but its only because of getting my 250 set up for me, and learning from better riders, you can do it! :) Just be careful and ride w'in ur limits! God bless! :)

the 150R is specifically designed for racing. A very peppy lightweight bike. I have the 150F rite now but lookin at the 150R to get into racin. Im a short rider and cant even get a leg over the 250 so hopin the 150R works out for me!

Great Vid chick you are flying ! But you need a bigger bike - you look cramped on the 150. go for a CRF 250 or if that's a bit to much get a 230. You will be suprised how much your riding will improve on a taller bike, as you standing possie will be so much better. All the best ! YVD
mmm obviously u havnt even seen a 230, or ur stupid. a 150 is liquid cooled and unicam. a 230 is air cooled and nothing. its a slug, goes lyk shit. no point in stepping up ur really just stepping down. a crf230 is not a motorcross bike. its a trail bike, this is heathers mx video not trail video so why should she step up to a trail bike?

Oh, and a tip, loosen up your arms a bit on the jump. Leave your elbows out a little so that way you won't hunch up. Plus you'll get more air :)

AWESOME! i am supposed to pick up my 150expert this weekend. you make me so excited! hey a question tho. i am 5'3 about 130 am i too big for the bike? a 250 is huge for me? what do you think? have you grown out of ur bike? did you feel too big in it, or was it just right?

Great Vid chick you are flying ! But you need a bigger bike - you look cramped on the 150. go for a CRF 250 or if that's a bit to much get a 230. You will be suprised how much your riding will improve on a taller bike, as you standing possie will be so much better. All the best ! YVD

a 230 is the step up from the 150. The 250 from a 150 are chalk and cheese. I think the 230 is better 'junk' for size, power and possie than a 150.

mmm obviously u havnt even seen a 230, or ur stupid. a 150 is liquid cooled and unicam. a 230 is air cooled and nothing. its a slug, goes lyk shit. no point in stepping up ur really just stepping down. a crf230 is not a motorcross bike. its a trail bike, this is heathers mx video not trail video so why should she step up to a trail bike?

My Mate just sold her CRF 150 and it was air cooled. There must 2 diffrent 'types' of 150. Sorry - my mistake.

We could have got a single pipe but the dual is a little more power..long story but anyway they come in tuesday and my dad will put them on we have all the other stuff on and it is hard to stay down in every gear..i think it is pulling 10 more horsepower then all the other 250s.. anyway wanna ride it next time i see you because if you wanna switch to a 250 you could get the feeling of mine
