  • The JUPITER 80 has pretty sounds like an updated version of the Roland D50. But it has no snarl no guts. Like A Yamaha DX7 MK2.

  • I think its a fantastic system and tons of features when you dig in.

  • this sound is pretty good! I should be getting the JP80 just before Christmas, can't wait ! :)

  • Hey Ed,

I want to request that you do more videos on sounds of the JP-80 in general. I dont know whether to buy this or the Korg Kronos so if you could upload more sound videos of the JP-80 that would be appreciated (it would help make my decision easier).

  • Ed, I wanna ask you a favor, please post a video explaining the original jupiter 8 and its differences with the jupiter 80, because as i can analyze, people is upset with the JP80 because they don't understand that you developed the jupiter 80 based upon the concept of giving the user the most realistic acoustic sounds and not only synth sounds, and they expected to see the jupiter 8 re-released, with all the knobs and synth power of it, like the arturia jupiter 8 v. For your patience thank you

  • wow nice music the kind i like, thanks for posting it

  • hey gus, im buying a JP-80 next week, ive heard so many bad reviews and stuff about it but are u still happy with it? i dont see much wrong with the jp-80, i think people just expected more from it... from what ive heard

  • @toonbakura Many of the reviews that I have read are actually wrong and written by people that have never playing the Jupiter-80 and have also never played the Jupiter-8 for that matter. The Jupiter-80 is an awesome instrument and the only person that you need to worry about is you. Do you like how it plays and sounds and will it work for your musical needs? Its a really awesome instrument and I think that once I cover it a little more you'll be convinced. Take care, -Ed.

  • @toonbakura I recommend to you, please try it yourself and ask someone in the store to test it for you. That will convince you if the product satisfices you or not. AND... if you have an 88 keys digital piano with a good hammer action, DON'T SELL IT!!! Use it with the JP80 via MIDI and you will enjoy it even more

  • @toonbakura I should get one pretty soon (just before Christmas) and I have no doubt that I will love it. I have a Juno Gi that I love and I'm trading it for a Jupiter 80. Those keyboard are all about creating a very rich and expressive sounds, thats exactly what I'm looking for. I know I cant create a whole song with it, thats why I will use a PC with DAW and unleash this beast :)

  • Keep them coming. You always do a great job of showing how equipment works.

  • Amazing! Hope Roland adds more supernatural acoustic sounds into JP80.

  • @satoshiho2006 I'm sure that they will. Remember that this board is still a baby. :)

  • @satoshiho2006 I hope they do too. Im buying one myself and hope Roland keeps the supernatural stuff coming.
