  • I cried at this. I think he is describing his wife, but also, I think he could be with Lisbon once Red John is toast.

  • @pussiepie1470

I like it 'Red John is toast' Best thing I heard all day, and I cried at this too.

  • I hate those scenes don´t get me wrong is so sweet but sometimes make me thing that Teresa only loves or cares about him as a friend or a brother that´s why their bond is so much stronger. :´(

  • Jane will move on once the real RJ is dead. Until then, he's got to keep any feelings he has for Lisbon to himself. If not, Lisbon is on the hit list. I wondered after this scene why he left this on his computer, right at that spot, when he knew he had her laptop, and she may come looking for it. hmmmm.....

  • This shows that Jane isn't ready for another relationship, even with Lisbon. That's the #1 reason why I don't ship them. He needs RJ to be dead or at the very least, put away, before he can even try to move on. That emotional turmoil just doesn't go away.

  • Lisbon's still beside you after killing a man.

  • This scene really hit me hard. It was the first time I kind of stopped going crazy over 'Jisbon' and realized that Jane is so much more damaged than he lets on.

Although. He WAS describing his wife, we all got that, but I think everything he says can also be applied to Lisbon. So who knows. Hopefully one day when Jane is more healed, he and Lisbon will have a chance. :)

And yes, I know I talk about the characters as if they are real. :b

  • @Ashtree28 See at first I thought that, but then he said "at peace with themselves," and I don't think that really describes Lisbon well. She obviously has her own fair share of emotional baggage.

  • @SmileCauseItsWorthIt Yeah, that's very true...

  • Am I the only one who got goosebumps with that "she was"? God it's so sad...

  • @iTooob Nope, you're not. One of the best scenes in this show so far.

  • i thought he described his wife, cus he said 'she was'

  • @BerryLips2601

In fact he was describing his wife :)

  • why does jane live there or sleep there or whatever?

  • @teamdamonalways His house in malibu is where his family was killed and he doesn't go there, he barely goes to his motel. He has no where else to go..

  • @CarineMurell thanks!!

  • Little does he realize...that's everything lisbon is and everything lisbon can be.

The tears in her eyes really made her character pop..

  • Every time I see this I get tears in my eyes

  • Uhh... I'm looking for someone who.. Umm... Someone I can trust... Someone strong, someone... In peace with himself... Someone better than me... Someone who knows the... Worst side of me and still loves me...

    Sounds like an amazing woman

    She was (:.

Jane's wife was such an amazing person ):, you can see how he would've died to rescue her...

  • God... When he said "she was" my heart just broke :/...Why is he such a damn good actor!... On a side-note, the first tiem I saw this episode I really believed he was describing Lisbon untill that very last couple of words.

  • @iTooob Interestingly...he IS describing Lisbon. If he'd just see it. :)

  • "knows the worst side of me and still loves me" my heart literally broke when he said that. :'(

  • I've make my own interpretation of this and I believe that it means that Jane isn't ready at all to have something with someone, he described his wife, the one that still represents a ring on his finger.

  • Stop arguing and just enjoy the video :]!

  • Despite i'm pro jisbon in this video he talk about Angela. I hope that one day he'll describe lisbon this way but it is too soon, first e must close the chapter with red john. However look at the tv series bones, after 6 SESON they have sex so we can only wait I'm sure that jane and lisbon will be a couple I hope not after 6 season

  • @w4v35 Bones is a completely different story to me, they don't have any sort of serious storyline going on. Also, the fact that they had sex doesn't mean they'll dive right into a relationship (although the baby makes it possible, though remember that it's really Deschanel's baby). Even more so, I think they waited too long with getting them together. After a few seasons it was completely obvious to both the watchers and the characters that they were in love with each other.

  • As much as I would love for Jane and Lisbon to get together, I know it won't happen in the near future. He was describing his wife here, and he's not going to get over her anytime soon or act on his feelings towards Lisbon. He'd feel like he was betraying his family if he started a new one before Red John was brought to justice.

  • @QueenOfTruands I don't think that he has really those feelings for Lisbon or visa versa.

  • @cbgflygirl I can honestly see it going either way. In some episodes they act just like siblings, but I think the writers try to please the fandom by adding in scenes every few episodes that push the possibility of future romance. I completely agree with your previous comment though - he's talking only about his wife here, and if anything happens with Lisbon, it won't be until the end of the series.

  • @QueenOfTruands I guess to be truthful I don't really want them to get together. I like a show that has the leads as just good friends. It's a nice change for the most part. But that's just me. I do again say that if it happends it will be at the end. But I kind of hope it doesn't. But if it does it's okay too.

  • @cbgflygirl

Again I agree with you. It's easy to see why if we watch Season 3 carefully, though. Lisbon is with Mashburn now and Jane just can't seem to forget Angela.

But of course that does not mean something can't happen between Jane & Lisbon in the future.

  • Get over it he was talking about his wife. I don't think that we'll be seeing Lisbon and Jane get together anytime soon. One reason being that Simon Baker has stated more than once that he doesn't want them to and IF they do it will be at the end of the series.

  • @cbgflygirl

Ah, finally someone who can accept the fact he was talking about his wife. Kudos to you, mate!!

  • @megalosauru I can't even begin to understand how people could interpret this being about Lisbon. Sure, it seems like it through Jane's video, but Jane himself says "She was" and how could someone even begin to think that he meant Lisbon in some way there. In fact, I see this entire scene as being anti-Jisbon. Why would Jane leave the laptop in his attic for Lisbon to find? How could this possibly promote him expressing his 'love' for Lisbon? He left it there on purpose.

  • @Feralious i also think Jane left it there on purpose but what would be the point if it was to show her in order to keep her away from him!? there's also a very poetic sense in this speech Jane used the term "she was" instead of "she is" speaking of his wife which shows he somehow has accepted her death and is ready to move on and "find love again" so think he was rather showing his colors in this scene rather than pulling off the bounderies ^^just sayin

  • Was he technically describing his wife?

Because seriously, the descriptions fit Lisbon perfectly. :D

..love the way she smiles while she's watching it. <3

  • This is just so sad scene I think. But this scene gives hope to Jisbon!

  • Apart this amazing scene ( due to personal experience, not similar to that of Jane's. But still you get the idea ). I find his acting in these sort of scene's just mind blowing. the eye's of common actors give away their true emotions, bit Patrick's eye's always go hand in hand with the emotions he needs to act.

Could anyone tell me the name of the song that plays at 00:20 till 00:56, if so I would appreciate it.

  • @TheDutchPrince1

    you're totally right ;)

by the way, the name of the song is "sorry hurts" by Blake Neely ^_^

  • @LostSony93 Thanks for the songs name and artist. As I said its appreciated.

  • @TheDutchPrince1

    your welcome ;)

  • Well if we really want to get techincal on this, yes Jane was describing his wife, but he was also describing Lisbon. His wife and Lisbon share VERY similar personalities it seems like. Thats probably why Jane is so drawn to Lisbon, and is more relaxed around her than the rest of the time. I still think Jane and Lisbon will end up together at the end. But definently not any time soon :)

  • @naru725

But it's obvious Lisbon lacks one huge quality to be Jane's dream woman though: accepting his worst side.

His worst side is wanting to kill RJ and Lisbon always went against that decision. Now since that ship has sailed, let' s see how she deal with it to decide whether or not she's fit Jane's type for woman.

  • @megalosauru to be honest I doubt Janes wife would want him to seek revenge on Red John either. Many people wouldnt want others to seek revenge and kill out of cold blood. I do believe though that Janes wife would be more on his side than Lisbon is. Lisbon believes in th law while Jane believes in justice. Thats why she cant accept it :S

  • @naru725

Look at it this way, RJ didn't only kill Angela but also Charlotte. Were Angela alive, I doubt she wouldn't want to see Jane obliterating RJ for killing their daughter. I think once you lost someone u love cause of others, it changes your view of the value of law and revenge.

And in all honesty, I think Lisbon should really cut Jane some slack about his revenge. She overlooked Bosco killing a criminal for God' sake. Would it kill her to do the same for Jane?

  • @megalosauru Of course it does change your view. But its your decision to do the right thing, and what jane thinks is the right way for him is different than how Lisbon sees justice law and order. I'm clearly all for Janes idea, its the same exact thing I would do, but that doesnt exactly make it right. An eye for an eye makes the whole world go blind. I do agree though Lisbon shouled be more laxed. And she has to be now lol.

  • @naru725

What is right and what is law are two different things. After all, justice depends entirely on your own personal view. And although an eye for an eye does have the possibility of making the whole world go blind, remember that this doesn't apply to everyone. Not all of us are forgiving.

And yeah, since Lisbon can no longer do anything about RJ now, let's see if she can face it calmly while looking at the bigger picture.

  • for everyone who thinks Jane was discribing Lisbon, he wasnt, he was describing his dead wife Angela, it's very sad

  • @slashervids200

I think everyone is having as hard time to accept that fact, LOL!!

  • omg how sad :( but Lisbon will be a good wife for Jane :D

  • @Fluffydoggy90 Ummm he was talking about his death wife... Hence the reason why he said "she was".

  • You people really need to exept the fact that they are not gonna kiss, they are not in love with eachother.. They are just very good friends. And he was talking about his wife, not about lisbon. Thats al i want to say, but i still love the show :D

  • Youn

  • He was talking about his wife.

  • This scene showed me how precious this show is. It worships the idea, the ideal of true love as Jane had with his family, and displayed how it would corrupt the whole story about why Jane acts the way he does and about Red John. This is the actual tragedy - him losing EVERYTHING, his change, and his mission he thinks is now the only thing worth living. As much as I like the Lisbon and Jane interaction, I don't think she can handle him if he doesn't want it. We'll see in Season 4!

  • This show is so perfect.

  • its so sad when the ladie say "sounds like n amazing woman" and Jane says "she was" :'( .... but i can be tht girl for him xD aha jk lisbons better with him <3

  • This girl that he is talking about, it's so lisbon! :o <3

  • I really did almost think he was talking about her when I was watching this part in the episode...then of, course, he said "she was"...and I realized that Lisbon and his wife are a lot alike.

  • Oh this is definitely referring to Lisbon. Earlier in the ep Erica said "try and look directly into the camera to allow your future soulmate to better connect with you." Hello Lisbon!!

  • Am I right an Jane described Lisbon?? I haven't seen the episode because I´m from germany and there we were only in season 3 episode 10... Wll they both get together?? *hope

(I hope you will understand me... My english isn´t very well... :S)

  • oh yay..i was totally looking for this scene

  • When he said "knows the worst side of me and still loves me" my heart actually sank, it's just heart breaking </3

  • I really hope he is referring to Lisbon. But what troubles me is, he says "was", not "is".

Perhaps he is talking about his dead wife? Grhhh, i hope not!

  • @nagarajanamrutha obviously describing his ideal woman and was using his wife as his reference...but since lisbon saw this we can assume that the writers are foreshadowing things to come.

  • @RdtheLiterature i hope so!! they have left hundreds of little clues that they have feelings for each other...too many to account for!

  • @xfusedx Really... do people even care for the characters? Are you out of your mind? Maybe Lisbon might like him as more than a friend, but Jane is not ready to fall in love again. Not at all. You're just seeing what you want to see. Name me one such clue and I'll disprove it. No offense, but it's comments like these that bug the hell outta me.

  • @nagarajanamrutha Not to sound offensive, but... are you crazy? Again, no offense. I just can't think of anything else to describe this comment. I hope 4 months might have cleared your mind.

  • @Ferolious Hmm. First of all, I would like to clarify what my comment means. It implies that despite being a shipper, I am clear sighted enough to realize that he is not talking about Lisbon.

And what have you got against us poor shippers? Let's just dream away in our own rose-tinted world. In other words, interpretations are subjective. And I think the makers of the show are clearly using that to go either way.

  • @nagarajanamrutha Hadn't noticed this comment before. No, I don't have anything against shippers. I have something against people who can't or won't see past their shipping, boldly stating things as 'He's talking about Lisbon here!'. I'm every bit okay with someone saying 'I hope Lisbon will realize this could be her' because there's nothing that disproves that, but people claiming they're so in love they should just hook up already... those are frustrating.

  • @Ferolious And yes, I WAS offended by the use of the word 'crazy'. Discussions should be healthy and not involve personal attacks on a person who differs with you. You must be more careful with your choice of words in the future.

    Have a nice day.

  • @nagarajanamrutha I didn't mean 'crazy' as in an 'idiot', I meant it as in 'do you even know the characters?' Because really, hoping he isn't talking about his dead wife is just... it doesn't make any sense, there's not much to differ about. You're dismissing the entire core of the show in favor of some fluffy romance.

  • i hope lisbon can fix the brokeness inside him. i know how some people want jane to be "the next red john". too all you people ugh!! no no no! i hate that. im hoping jane is like on the brink of killing him and then he see's lisbon and stops and then red john gets taken down by some freak act of karma in a slow and painful death that jane gets a front row seat in :P

  • @chickie171 Lol

  • @RdtheLiterature i too find the thought amusing lol :P

  • @LostSony93

Me too. I hope Lisbon knows that he was basically describing her :)

    Thanks for uploading!

  • @Bubbles4482

    np ;)

  • @Bubbles4482 No, he desribed his wife Angela.

  • Do you think he meant for her to see that?

  • @Bubbles4482

    He didn't.

It was a coincidence, and I'm happy it happened :)

  • he just described lisbon :)

  • Sad :(

  • I wish they would do an episode to show how Jane ended up in CBI. And perhaps get Lisbon and him together.

  • And Lisbon will be :)

  • @brutonello92 i agree

  • yuo this scene made me go with a big AWE! lisbon looks so sad and intense. i bet she worries about jane a lot
