It is so heartbreaking to see such devastation to the area that my family are from (although I live in Australia).
To see people's homes and livelihoods destroyed, and even worse, to know that people and animals have lost their lives and been injured as a result of these senseless fires is truly awful.
I sincerely hope that everyone now gathers the strength and common sense to work TOGETHER in order to CHANGE ATTITUDES in Greece and to help re-build so many destroyed lives.
We were stuck in Faskomilia at the time,it is something that will never leave me.
Although we are back in Australia now, our hearts and mind are always with everyone back in Greece.
