@SuperKingjazz George worked with Manzarak in the 90's, as a result of that he did a Doors Tribute album. I have not heard it, but this may be from it. The guitar work sounds a lot like Paul Speer. Could be as they were both Windham Hill artists at one time. Bummer is that as I was typing the song ended truncated... Whatever it is, it's hauntingly refreshing.

For Jim it was his first time, but Janice had done it before. The combination of H and alcohol proved deadly for both of them.

This is totaly good, I dont see it as a classic but as an piano version, and it sounds different but yet good.

There is one thing you can learn from this version, that The Doors music is a high quality one, there is so little songs from that period that could be played on piano.

And think one more stuff before jugment, all music first come on piano, then to other instruments, trust me I know a little bit on that one.
