  • So They record with Tooth And Nail and They can't get a mic for a video blog?? XD

  • Disambiguation was a shit but this song sounds great. I like the 2004-2006 Underoath, but the group has change a lot since then. Yes! I have hope in this song!

  • i got my first two tattoos today. one of them was the HIM heartagram. The other was the Underoath emblem, the "O" with the slash in it.

  • 0:36 best part xD

  • Just throwing this out there to the people arguing. I'm not sure how ABR became comparable to Underoath. I don't even understand how you could start comparing how ABR uses 'complicated time signature changes' to Underoath's style. They are both completely different from each other. That's like comparing PTH to AFI....stupid. Pointless.

  • wow does spencer have draids? looks good tho

  • @zReverie

did u do this just to see how many people would give u a thumbs up?

  • I'm getting a tattoo to represent metal music on my wrist, I was gonna get the Underoath logo, anyone got any other ideas? Cheers!

  • wheres the video???

  • killer beard!

  • The video was awesome!! And Daniel shaved his cowboy mustache!! o-o

  • WHERE IS THE VIDEO!!!

  • @EpicFork their website!!!

  • FIRST!!!

    lol jkjk 70th

  • Underoath is one of my favorite christain "metalcore" band. They are unique and artistic. Its sad to see arron leave, but it has pushed them in a good direction... although I have to say that castes such a thin shadow is my favorite song by them, and define the great line ties first with son I loved you at your darkest by as cities burn for my favorite christain "metal" album.

  • I think Underoath have always done their own thing really. Sure you could throw them into the Metalcore category but they've got too much artistic integrity to be "generic". Every album since Chasing Safety has been amazing in my opinion - true artists and great musicians!

  • that was a nice couch

  • Old underoath with Dallas was just complete shit. Boring generic music and fucking barked vocals that sounded total crap.

When Spencer joined, they were mainly a different and thankfully, talented line-up. They put out some incredibly epic music, including Define the Great Line - one of the best albums ever. Despite Aaron leaving, the current Underoath is still amazing. 777.

  • @danutd94 there's no need to disrespect Dallas. There wouldn't be an Underoath if it wasn't for him

  • i like beards

  • seeing you tonight cant wait :D

  • BEST LIVE BAND EVER! I got a pic with Spee, he's the sweetest man I ever met!

  • Spence, you look like a rasta bum, and I'm kinda likin it

  • you forgot to mention australia in that tour, just fyi ;)

  • I didn't hear what they were saying...I was too busy listening to the amazing song in the background lol

  • Is that spencer singing at the end of the video?! I gotta check the new album out!

  • @Statik1482 yes spencer is now the singer and screamer of the band

  • @demoncry54Thanks bro! Def gotta check this cd out!

  • @Statik1482 its amazing

  • @AdmiralPooarms i kinda felt the same. but it grew on me. its just so different that i ddnt know what to expect

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • Loved their new album <3 I still can't believe people are bitching about Aaron. Get the fuck over it.

  • @AdmiralPooarms no you're disappointing. idk lol

  • Finally! Can't wait to see it <3

  • TOOK FOREVER MUCH?

  • US tour. finally. I keep missing them. grrr! hopefully they're close and I'll be able to see them :D

  • I just saw you guys at Koko! :D loved every second

  • yesssss paper lung is one of my fave songs!

  • Why do you guys never come to Latvia ? :(

  • @underoathtf lol, that would be siick. :P

  • @underoathtf lol, that would be the sickest thing. :)

  • Yes! Summer tour!! I need to see you guys now.

  • @videogamer65 Stop being such a hater. Like ABR more, go listen to them and shut up.

  • @videogamer65 i thumbed you down >:P

  • @videogamer65 august burns red and underoath are both christian metal bands. the only difference, to you, is their talent, which is an OPINION.

next time, try not to state your opinion as fact, ok?

  • @1234MusicEqualsLife If you knew anything about music, you would know august burns red uses unusual time signatures, and complex drum beats, something that takes a lot of skill to play with. August burns red will play in a basic 4/4 time signature, and then they will speed up and change it for one riff! Underoath, unfortunately doesnt, they just play basic stuff at basic speeds. Compare any of underoaths newest songs to ABRs newest songs. ABR will win every time.

  • @videogamer65 alright, kewl. also, preference is NOT a fact. what if i just dont like that kind of music? some of the most successful bands have the most simple type of music. having the most complicated music doesnt make them automatically better than underoath

  • @1234MusicEqualsLife Short sweet and to the point. No matter how complex or what time signatures they use, ABR is very Generic. Sounds Like tons of other bands in the genre and all of their songs sound the same. I like them, but when it comes to originality and GREAT MUSIC. UO takes the cake.

  • @NailEmUp87 Not their new stuff.

  • @NailEmUp87 I personally think ABR has a very unique sound and I find them really enjoyable to listen to (as a musician of course, I can see how general audiences wouldn't like them as much, not assuming that you are/aren't either of those), you can't really compare them to UO though, its almost like they aren't the same genre. Definitely different focuses in each band, the only song I really find comparable to any of UO's stuff is Meridian.

  • @rokknroll4 I completely agree! I love them both, they aren't the same genre. I was commenting on the other people comparing the 2. They called Underoath "Metalcore" They aren't Metal at all.

  • @NailEmUp87 Disregard the multiple comments, shitternet wouldn't let me post em

  • @NailEmUp87 Oh I see what you were saying, ABR is definitely metalcore, UO is... I dunno, experimental rock? Not that it matters really, it bugs me that people insist on labeling every band with a genre

  • @rokknroll4 Agreed. When it comes down to it, labels aren't important. But out of all the labels I've heard for UO, I like experimental rock the best. Quite accurate

  • @videogamer65 So good music is relative to how complicated it is? Shut up mate, you have no idea what you're talking about.

  • @TheRationalRant No, not really. But underoath is trying to be so hard at being heavy. And they utterly fail at it. Their screamer screams like a pussy, and none of the instrumental stuff is even "heavy" to begin with. It just sounds like generic metalcore to me. Nothing new, nothing fresh.

  • @videogamer65 I completely disagree. They're sound is unique. Have you heard the new album? I wouldn't in a million years call it generic metalcore. They're creating the music by a natural process. They're not "trying" to be anything.

  • @videogamer65 Sorry to say this, but ABR are much closer to "generic metalcore" than Underoath, with the palm muted chugging etc.

  • @TheRationalRant As i said before, generic metalcore bands dont use complex drum beats, dont apply complex time signatures to certain riffs in songs, don't put "salsa metal" in to their work, dont write soft music.

  • @videogamer65 So now it's "if it's not complex, it's generic" Seriously you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. You have such a narrow minded view of music it's unbelievable.

  • @videogamer65 Ok, I'v realised you're probably trolling. Good one.

  • @videogamer65 But that's still not to say that they're not good. ABR is an awesome band too. I personally prefer Underoath, because I do, call it circular reasoning. You're initial comment was completely unfounded and immature. Think before you make such ridiculous and primitive statements.

  • @videogamer65 wow. spencer is one heck of a screamer you idiot. who would you call a "good" screamer?

  • @ajthe2nd Parkway Drives vocalist, Between the Buried and Me's vocalist, August Burns Reds vocalist. Underoaths vocalist just screams from his voice, it doesnt sound agressive or powerfull, just like hes falling off of a building in terror.

  • @videogamer65 Oh dude, are you fucking killing me?, Spencer is a fucking god, better than any vocalist you say...

  • @videogamer65 Spencer's 'screams' are unique because he isn't aiming for a raspy, metal sound. He aims to be more clear with his lyrics than metal bands that mask most of their lyrics with harsher growls or screams.

I enjoy both, but I do love Spencer's sound.

  • @videogamer65 Short sweet and to the point. No matter how complex or what time signatures they use, ABR is very Generic. Sounds Like tons of other bands in the genre and all of their songs sound the same. I like them, but when it comes to originality and GREAT MUSIC. UO takes the cake.

  • @videogamer65 A Divine Eradication's intro goes from 6/8 to 5/4. And that's just one example. Please know music before you try to talk about it.

  • @videogamer65 LOL you obviously no nothing about time signatures by stating this. So ABR can speed up so what? so can everyone else. Going from Stranger time signatures in mid song like in "Divine Eradication", "In Division is much more difficult than playing something that just speed up. AND NOT ONLY THAT but OU in this album has gone so far as to use strange as fk tunings like B,F#,B,D,F#,B SERIOUSLY? who the fk uses that and creates such awesome songs like "In Division" Paper Lung" "Divine"

  • @AndThenCameThenC And you obviously know nothing about tunings. You can tune your guitar to whatever you want, it will just have a different tone because the notes are different. Any band can create any song with any tuning. All it does is change the tone, dumbass. And many bands use different tunings these days. Between the buried and me, Within the Ruins, Protest the Hero all use wierd tunings. I can tune my guitar to anything i want and write a song with no problem. Any musician can.

  • @AndThenCameThenC - I'm sorry, but you're retarded. It takes more skill, technique and practice to play fast riffs than to tune your guitar and pump out a few songs. If you were going to argue in defense of Underoath, you could just note the difference between smashing drums and shredding guitars, and making music with body and form. Underoath has a unique sound amongst most, 'metal/post-hardcore' or whatever the fuck you want to call it, bands.

  • summer tour! yeah!^^

  • :))) one of my favorite songs!!!!

  • love uo 4ever even without aaron. please come 2 pittsburgh again

  • come to canada dang it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Underoath is so great ^.^ I swear, at first I told my frnd bout then he thought they would sound like any other band. But wen he finally heard then he thought they sounded betr than any!!

  • Sadly, May 25th is on a Wednesday xD

  • @AdmiralPooarms yeah, if you don't like great music.

  • don't you mean april 25th?

  • Can't wait!! Paper Lung is my favourite song off the album <3

  • May or April?

  • @notafraidtodream

April, it's also in the description.

  • @ZacharyDangerStewart

Yeah they've changed it after my comment ;)

  • to bad may 25th is a wednesday
