You're a moron. First of all, kas is better than you will ever be -- so if he's terrible, then you're a pile of shit. (actually, you're probably worse than that) Second, no shit Toss is better in a straight up match. Did you even listen to Husky?! As a terran, you have to put pressure on toss because a toss ball can decimate a terran ball easily.

@whatdoiputhere Man whens the last time you played sc2, I am a plat toss and mmm is still the single most devastating strat against a protoss, as the army speed and composition is vastly superior to a protoss. Against a terran ball, the only real counter to toss is high temp, which are cost inneffective, and colo, which get shredded by vikings.

@TheTrueRiceMaster flanking has always been the way versus terran. Use FF to split their forces and cancel their micro, then storm. Saying Storm is cost 'ineffective' versus MMM is improper early game, but later in the game or even mid game i vastly disagree. Early game 1-2 DTs harass late game 5-10 templars with 5 sentries in flanking positions so that emp has to be spot on in all directions. If your opponent can do this then you're in grandmaster league.

I am pretty sure that WhiteRa has always been laying his gates together as that is pretty common for SC1 players. That is due to the fact that back in the days in SC1 it was so much easier to macro because you could not hotkey all the gates anyway. Still Husky has a point with the placement that at the end it might play a huge role.

So here's a strategy that I don't see much. Imagine you have a giant MMM ball. You go stim happy, and go in a kamikaze march right through all their bases doing a stutter step. And then when you get backed into a corner, you use your medivacs and go into a mass retreat. All your units are in the red from all the stims, but you get out of there with all of your units intact with a snipe on many buildings along the way. Thoughts anyone?

@GodAloneBeTheGlory Your unit-filled Medivacs can get sniped. Also, without Vikings or Ghost you will have so much problems dealing with Colossus. Above that, the defender could transition into air units or leave some blink Stalkers in their base and kills your drops as they unload or before doing so.

Finally, Kamikaze for Terran is problematic as they can't replenish their army at once.

Basically, your plan is way too risky.

It seems like every win terran has lately against toss is a Marine/Marauder build. Toss's pro vs con is supposed to be a powerful deathball that has limited mobility, but lately it seems like Terran can take the death ball on with rax units and still have the advantage of mobility.

that little "shiny" is the concussive shell exploding at the zealot.

you have to have concussive shells for it to show up.
