This bassline is a real pain in the fretting hand. That being said, he's hardly moving his fretting hand at all. That is skill. Not to mention I'm pretty sure this version is vastly musically superior to the original.
WOW!!! Trevor working the bass! Love the drums too. After so many years of hearing this song it's great to see it played live. I wish I had been there.
Why is the drummer rushing the song along like that? Everything else sounds great! I still can't get that trippy video with that odd little kid outta me head! Its still makes me laugh! Now I have a more sane version to look at. Thank you!
First few times I watched this I thought the exact same thing, but I really do think he's watching an electronic metronome to keep a certain pace. Playing that many bass notes in that short amount of time it's easy to start dragging. I'm betting Trevor told him to make sure the song doesn't drag......so he's pushing everyone to keep pace
trevor is ace on tht bass im only 23 and tht is 1 of ma faves ever !

Wow... That's a amazing ensemble effort. I'm blown away at how true it is to the original.

Trevor Horn`s bass is a 5-string...? Is this especially made for him ?
Bass amplifier seems to be an Ampeg SVT.
