A friend invited me to one of these doTerra meetings. Pyramid scheme marketing fraud. That told me a LOT about their product. I wouldn't trust any of this supposedly "certified" oil.
DoTerra EO's cheap rip-off. Founders of DT were YL executives pretending trusted friends of Dr. Gary & Mary Young. DT copies YL's formulas, marketing... DT's foundation is unethical. Personally knew some of them. DT does not have their own farms, distilleries or testing equipment. They're a broker of cheap perfume grade EO's (ex: DT frankincense is Boswellia frereana, cheap perfume-grade. Young L's Frankincenses: Boswellia carteri & B. sacra, most medicinal & finest grade). see healingoils.info
If these oils work for you and your family why criticize anyone that use them. I would rather use a natural product than put chemicals in my body and have numerous ill effects from it. Some of the Ole ways that our ancesters used worked for them, why not try them first, and if they don't work try your medical doctor. I know being a senior citizen I can't afford all the medical treatments/visits and medicine not including the medical insurance. Sooooo......this is my opinion.
CTPG is a term made up by doTerra, just as GRAS is a term made up by YoungLiving. Both of these companies produce very good oils, but they also cost a fortune because they are MLM companies, meaning eveyone all down the line gets paid by comission on what everyone under them sells. Nothing against any of their products,I have used many of them, but I wish I could find a company that sells pure therapuedic grade oils without having to pay the salary of everyone in the company!
@ladylynnea1 This is how every company works. They have people who work for them and those costs are part of the cost of the product or service they provide.
@californiamamaw certified by who even Dr. Hill tells you that there are NO regulations in the US. They seem like great oils but who "certified" them?
You give no data, thats jacked up. No info = no interest. You say "trust me I'll give you data" and all you require is my data? Not a chance! Thats 2:15min I'll never get back. Practice your speech more, don't post your first try.
CTPG is a trademarked marketing slogan, not a standard the oils have to live up to. The little 'R' inside the circle that you're seeing after that phrase? That's what that means. Saying these oils are better because they are CTPG is roughly the same as saying you prefer Pepsi because it's "the choice of a new generation" (that's an old Pepsi slogan for those of you too young to remember). "It's the best because they told me it is!".

lol ddt in 2010-nobody uses it since it was banned in the US, and DDT is safe for humans. DDE, the breakdown of DDT is the harmful part
