I am now studying hearing science in Taipei. I am a buddist not a Christian, but after I've been learning more about how the ear works I begin to understand why Dr.David Menton said the hearing organ were created by God! It's really amazing! I like this video sooooooo much!!!

Firstly, the description is only showing the first quarter of words and therefore the 'creationist based video' filament cannot be seen, and who actually reads the description anyway? Personally I find it very offensive that you based one individuals comment into "you people". He had not seen that it displays "creationist based video" which is why he had questioned it in the first place. A simple answer would have been necessary.

i showed up donexodus on his videos, not only could he not refute anything i said because it was true, ie: the contradictions by evolutionists on things like vestigial organs, he also didnt like how i pointed out his circular reasoning in using the fossil evidence to support evolution, even though it is evolution that is used to support the fossil record , i posted a quote by an evolutionist that stated evolutionists are guilty of circular reasoning on this, so don exodus banned me.

Eyes evolved over eons detail by detail... first a mere cell that was light sensitive, then eventually a lense and the modern human eye. Not that difficult.

@blkpoplar The eyes are very complex and are much more than light sensitive cells. Even with light sensitive cells, you have to find a way to send the light as information to the brain. Each eye has features specific to that creature's needs. Understand evolution mathematically. For an eye to evolve, you'd need trillions, not billions of years. The eye is clearly designed. Cells that stretch and interlock, a retina with "backwards" facing photoreactive cells, converting light to electric signal.

How much someone is worth isn't a scientific question. Evolution as a scientific theory can never touch on a question like that. Social Darwinism, which applies "survival of the fittest" on people, is not a scientific theory, but a sociological one. The two aren't the same

You're missing my point. There's a difference in Evolution and Social Darwinism. I'm an Evolutionist--which means I believe that species diversify throughout time from a common ancestor. This is different from believing the social philosophy of Social Darwinism. I hate Social Darwinism as much as anyone.

In the Evolution debate, Creationists often mistake the scientific theory for the social theory. The two are totally separate theories applied to separate fields.

Manufacturing defect. In the wild this individual wouldn't survive to pass on the defect (if it were genetic) Darwin got that part right. Humans interfere with natural selection all the time. For example. I wear glasses, I should have been eaten long ago.

@bmjcpeterson Think about how the deaf and the blind impact society today. If we didn't have people as extraordinary as them we wouldn't have sign language or a whole new way of reading. These skills are now used as important communications for the military and even gave rise to audio books for those unable to read. Just cuz they aren't equal in human senses to everyone doesn't mean they can't do things or impact our lives. These people help us to learn.

MadScience, I'd be happy to discuss this with you at any time. The fact that you believe that creation is more conceivable than creation is proof that you don't understand it. Evolution can no more be proved than cellular theory, atomic theory, plate techtonics, gravity, or any other science can be. There is no faith in science, only skepticism and rational and critical examination. Computer models and nature show that eyes can easily arise and reach great complexity without a designer.

I'd like to see those computer models. Sounds interesting. It also seems to me that some evolutionists are Ignoring science. Since science is asking questions then testing the answers. Anytime you reject an answer based on your personal belief, you stop engaging in science. (history is full of these) And you are correct, few scientific theorys ever become law. And even then, only by sheer weight of evidence.

beauty or complexity do not require a creator or design. Anyone who subscribes to the belief that the ear or the eye is too complex to have arisen from natural processes is both blind and deaf to reality and hard data.

If humans became nocturnal & had to hunt or escape predators in low light their sight would become more acute over eons. Owls have better eyesight in this way. What use is a simple eye? When no other creature had any eye at all one that would detect motion or light would help it find food or escape potentially hostile entities. Only animals like parasites that don't need sophisticated eyes still have primitive eyes.
