where is this ? its way smaller than our pattern in north texas . although thats just playday . our north texas is same size winnig times ar 17 s at playday . AT north texas 15 to 16
ok... ya y r u yelling hoa like way before the barrels? u dont need to check him to u r like 4 feet infront; that will help make that a faster run; and if ur just starting work on drills more not the pattern bc he already seems like he has attitude
my mare has a long stride, i mean like WAYYYY long, and the only time i ever yell when i am barrel racing, is before the first barrel and i yell "WOA" and it works to slow her down, cuz she gains wayyyy too much speed going up to the first and then she goes too wide, and i think that run was GREAT!!! and whoever said that he runs like crap is sooo wrong! they dont know anything about barrel racing!! and u had every right to respond to her like you did!
Hello! I think Mo is an awsoem little horse, and your vocal with him, your letting him know "Okay Bud this turns coming!" I get a little excited too! lol, the first time I ran an 18 I was screaming at the top of my lungs the whole way from third! haha, anyways, he is a great little horse, he will come around and gain speed, you got some wicked turns though! :D
My horse does not run like crap! He may not be perfect, but he's a pretty damn good horse! It just rubs me the wrong way when people post "advice" in that "high horse" manner and then "can't understand" when people tell them to go pound sand.
Honestly, I shouldn't have gotten so defensive, but you're first comment just kinda pinched a nerve, and that's my own fault. I do sincerely apologize. I don't agree with you, but I shouldn't have responded in that manner.
Look, I know the horse and how he rides best... you do not. I do use spurs, I use leg, I try to stay off his mouth, and I use a whip. Get over it. I'll ride my horse, you ride yours.
I don't kick, I squeeze. And I'm not whipping him the whole time, geez... I use it on the spots where he needs it, because those are the areas to tends to lag, whether I'm pushing him forward with my heel or not.
that is so awsome! I cheered for you in the end when i heard the time!!!! Dont you wish they allways turn good? Flare would be running high 15s if she did...
Haha wow! Great run!
