  • God... I feel so dumb watching this but I don't remember -__-

  • Thanks so much

  • ty i was stuck on this worksheet

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHa go to 1:38 and press play.

  • DO YOU ALWAYS MULTIPLY THE NUMBER BY TWO TO FIND THE NUMERATER? i DID THIS METHOD WITH MY HOMEWORK AND GOT 4 AND 4/3...??

  • @misscheer757 First, you are not multiplying the number--you are just making it into a value of one whole so you can add it to the whole number.

I do not have the problem you are referring to here, obviously; but, IF the answer is 4 and 4/3, you cannot have an improper fraction as part of your mixed number. So, since the numerator 3 goes into 4 once, with one left over, you take that 1, add it to the whole number of 4 to get a final simplified answer of 5 and 1/3

  • FINALLY! Soemthing that doesn't sound confusing!

  • thhannkkssssss

  • does this work for both m,ultiplaying fractions, dividing, adding, and subtracting

  • @AGD165 the answer is that the method of changing an improper fraction to a mixed number does not change.

  • @northstar15 THANK YOU helps alot =)

  • I'm doin math home work and 5/2 is a problem!!!! Omg thanks!!!!

  • i had to look up on youtube to know how to do my homework GHETTO

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

  • thank you it was really helpful with my hw!@

  • I am stared to think the internet helps me more than my math teacher.

  • THANKS!! this helped sooo much!

  • you talk to us like we are babies but still it is helpful. Thx man!

  • Really helpfull thanks man!

  • I'm in 7th grade and still need halp with mixed fractions, and this didn't exactly help with what I needed, lol.

    2 and 4/12+3 and 6/12 + 9/12=5 and 19/12, right? How do I change that?

  • @DezEatsCookies2 I have many other vids on fractions and mixed numbers. You might want to convert these mixed numbers into improper fractions first, find your LCD and then convert your answer back into a mixed number.

  • @DezEatsCookies2 Yes, but the fraction part is still an improper fraction and you cannot leave it this way in your answer. 12 goes into 19 once with 7 left over, so you add the whole number ONE to the 5, which makes it 6 and 7/12. This is tricky--just remember that everything must be simplified.

  • also, watch my other fraction vids

  • helpful

  • thumbs up if u thought it was a teenage boy until u saw his hand.

  • I'm stuck where it says change the mixed number to like mixed number. Can you explain it or do you have a video of that?

  • too much work in the first excersize-too much work.

    2nd part=eezy peezy

  • could you guys give me the answer for 10 over 5 please

    :-)

  • @WhaThaBluh 10/5 is 10 divided by 5, which equals 2

  • Thanks! You saved me a lot of solving to turn 38/4 and 67/6 into a mixed number ;)

  • wow! :D ur much better at teaching than my own math teacher! :D

  • Thanks

  • Thank you so much !!!!. Very clear, nice voice. God bless you !!

  • wow u explain better than y teacher

  • i dont get dis stuf

  • THX SOOOO MUCH MY TEACHER IS A PERSON WHO GOES FAST SO I DONT UNDERSTAND! THX SOOOO MUCH

  • oh my! thank you so much! like you talk at a perfect pace and explain and this helps alot thank you!

  • @cricky14 thnx 4 this comment

  • YOU R GREAT

  • Wasn't paying attention in class and got lots of hw thanks

  • u explain it like where retarded, but.. thanks;)

  • thank you that helped me alot

  • thank you, this helped a lot!! i like how slow you are and that you don't try to be confusing, i subbed and gave thumbs up for you!!

  • This helped. but your voice is weird

  • you sound like a ga.y

  • ahhh THANKYOU.....I swear my teacher must have said this sometime but i obviously wasnt listening....thankyou soooo much...ur a lifesaver! :)

  • ok

  • can the denominator be lower than the whole?

  • @Latias602 I'm really not understanding your question. You can have a mixed number where the denominator of the fraction is smaller than the whole number, e.g., 4 and 2/3

  • @northstar15 where did you get the 2x2=4 and 2x3=6

  • @Latias602 ya

  • ok so what about something like 50 divided by 9 to a mixed number

  • thanlk yooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

  • I Love How you teach! I Understand Noww. (:

Thanks for going slow! Helps ALOT!& I Have a question,What if you Dont have a remainder? Like 10/5???

    Am i confused??

  • @MsRaquel1999 thnx for the comment...in your example, 10/5 is an improper fraction that you can simplify to get a final answer of 2, since 5 goes into 10 exactly 2 times.

  • Comment removed

  • I love how you pause, and go slow. I'm a very slow learner and I mean VERY and this really helps! Thank you!

  • @FluffyLOVEForever thnx for this comment

  • Thank you soooooo much you made this super easy for me to teach my daughter. Your awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MegaM316 same heree :(

  • How this guy talks and explains things makes me feel stupid. I probably am though, i'm in 8th grade pre-algebra and I don't know how to do this! lol

  • Yay thanks I forgot this but now I know how to do it again!! =D

  • THX U!!!

  • thank you so much you helped me in this problem. thank you:)

  • thank u so much

  • Thanks so much this is helping me with my fashion merchandising homework! Its so much easier to learn from you than my tutor.

  • @northstar15, actually, I understood that all the way. (Through the text) :) Thanks again.

  • You may be a nerd but you saved my ass

  • Thanks! I'm in eighth grade, and I was getting really confused about mixed numbers, and improper fractions, and whatnot. The school year just started up in August, and I haven't done any Math for a while.

  • 2x2=4

    2x3=6

    ... no shit lol

  • 2x2=4

    2x3=6

    ... no fucking shit lol

  • omg thanks sooo much i neeeded this you exsplained it so simpel! thanks abunch!!

  • @crystalcoyote69, And I bet I'll find the answer to my own question sooner than you will answer back. But I would like to know for the future. Lolz. Anyways, thanks again! :)

  • Okay so, I was looking around the internet how to do this. And I found this! Thanks SOOO much! :D But I have a question.... I have a problem that's like 5 devided by 9/10. And I get to the point where the answer is 45/10. So then I devide those two numbers. My answer that I get is: 0. 222 (Repeating) . I need help.. >_< How do I make this a fraction?! Someone please help me here!

  • @crystalcoyote69 I don't know what you did here. But the answer is 5 and 5/9. I will explain below, but it may not be easy to understand since this is text and not a video. Please watch my other vids on dividing and multiplying fractions.

    5 divided by 9/10 = 5 x 10/9, which translates in fraction form to 5/1 x 10/9, which equals 50/9 or 5 and 5/9 if you simplify it to a mixed number.

  • thank you so so so much<3 im homeschooled & i have to do this.

  • thanks i foregot how to change an improper fraction

even though im good at fraction i foregot over the summer

    so tnzs

  • thank u first day of skool tmm nd i needed this

  • THANK YOU!!! :D

  • thanks man helped alot
