Mercedes s class and bmw 7 series are some of the heaviest safest car around . I got hit by a Dodge Ram , and old my god I thought he was dead . I jumped out of my car had and looked at the damage front bumper and grill headlight smash. The Ram was in 5 pieces. These car are very very heavy . Safety comes first when youre in a accident

Put any other car in the same weight class as the smart, in that test, and it would have been flattened into nothing. Smart seened to keep its occupants 'save', even though it was tossed onto its side. I give it a thumbs up for strength to size ratio.
