@Jamesv223 : That's how the TARDIS prop really works - They film the space, then 3 guys show up with a truck and assemble it. Then they film it again. Doctor Who is, unfortunately, just a work of fiction, not fact.
I've got just the TARDIS door, because I figured the whole TARDIS woild take up too much room in my flat. From the looks of it, yours DOES take up a lot of space. I sure hope it's bigger on the inside...
@JemmetGK I think I concocted that sound effect myself - the first part is the Patrick Troughton landing sound, then it's grafted on to the standard Tom Baker sound that I think they still use in the post-2005 series.
I have never begged a person before in my life. But could you explain how you made the tardis (i know its just a blue box) as i searched everywhere and they dont really explain anything to much or offer to sell there own. If you could give the dimensions and what u used i would be so thankfull! thank you for your time
when i move out (im 16), im thinking of making a tardis like this, but leaving out the back wall. then im going to make a room in my house the inside of the tardis then i put the tardis in the doorway and voila i've made a tardis that's bigger on the inside. :D hooray for timelord tech!!
wtf? your build page is full of crap about a laser harp and stuff, it links to a steve-o-tron (coming soon), TESLA COIL (also coming soon), Sarah Jane Hobley (coming really soon?), but nothing about a TARDIS!!! GIVE US THE PROPER LINK PLZ!!
Great! Now take off! :)

I would build it, put it somewhere in the city, and sit in it myself. Than take it with me again and put it somewhere else. That would be fun!

Bet you had fun putting that away when you had to
MrDarkKyle 6 months ago

@shobley It's actually a fiberglass shell, so one guy with a truck shows up and puts it on the ground.

achappy713 1 year ago
@achappy713 ah that was a one-time joke by the writers, methinks, funny, but not going to be canonized as an actual "fact" so to speak...

No need to beg...
:)
There used to be a TARDIS builders guild website out there, they had plans available. I built mine from just one page front elevation diagram.
My site is down at the moment, but send me an email and I might be able to help you out.

Err... it's a box, made out of wood - what do you need to know?
:-)
If you really need to know how to build one, then there are plenty of plans out there on the internet.

Very cool. How long would it take to build with 1 guy and 3 screwdrivers?

The screwdrivers, not the guys...
