OMG Kayla is sooooo Cute it's not even funny. I didn't think Shane and Kayla wasn't bad. I think everyone is pissed for the simple fact that Kayla and Kim are sisters.
I think the reason like I like Shane and Kayla together is because I like the actress better. I've seen a lot of clips of Shane and Kim too. I like the amnesia storyline. I just like Mary Beth Evans.
I think there is something wrong with my brain. I saw the warning, I knew I should not watch and just add it to the lists without watching it but of course I watched it. I am going to watch the the Emma murder trial now to cheer myself up :) I will never finish the 1990-1992 play lists.
@Mlcommand The curiosity got the best of you ~ if you decide to watch anything else in that era, may I suggest the MPD storyline, it's a little easier to swallow than the "Shayla" stuff!!!
@kimber1572 - I am too new to this addiction to go off the "Shane & Kim together " path just yet. Besides, I mistakenly caught a glimpse of a 1992 Kim striptease for Phillip in garden and Shane accidentally seeing it and looking heartbroken and that about did it for me. I don't want to watch anything past Amnesia 25/25. :0 Your the best Kimber.

The curiosity got the better of me so I watched this scene. I kind of remember this. Your warning was right on the money though. Not for Shane and Kim fans at all. I'll never understand what was going through the writers minds during this time.
The Shane and Kayla stuff was just too stupid to even take seriously. Kayla was supposed to be a grieving widow who had lost the love of her life when Steve supposedly died but then she turns around and not very long after is supposedly in love with Shane? This was disgraceful for not only Steve and Kayla fans but also for Shane and Kim fans. These writers seemed just as bad as the ones that Days has today in a lot of ways. No wonder Mary Beth Evans and Charles Shaugnessy left in 92.
@kimber1572 I couldn't agree more. That would've been awesome. Anything was better than having Shane and Kayla pairing up. They just didn't have the chemistry of lovers between them. They were more like good friends trying to force themselves to be something more. I heard Mary Beth say in an interview that neither she nor Charles Shaugnessy liked the pairing. She said it was like kissing her brother.
WHAT?! He's never wanted anything more in his whole life than to be with Kayla? How many times did he say that exact same line to Kimberly? That's why I can't take anything he says seriously to Kayla because he's always said the exact same thing to Kimberly when they were together (with maybe a little more feeling to her, though!) Ahh the man aggrevates me, but he's still irresistible without a shirt! Ok, rant over! :)
