@posch21 You're welcome and thanks for watching! I do not eat bread, all the food I don't talk about in the video are foods that my roommate eats. I document everything I eat on my website. It's easy to find the documentation because "Food Consumption" is on the front page of my website.
Great video! I really enjoyed this one, maybe cause you haven't done one in a while, or maybe because of the water theme, or MAYBE because I'm not eating the exact same thing. LOL
FYI, it's Jourdan's Beautiful FOOD, not foods. The website corresponds to this. Youtube won't let me post the URL.
love it!! lucky to have so many persimmons already!!! I just got my first box of fuju's . Love love love the early girls, my fave too so close with heirloom. Just waiting on the growers to pass their 2nd load to my distributer :)
@TheFruitarian "got some nice bottled water" I like that!! The persimmons are amazing, some of the Saijos have a little cinnamon flavor to them. Great stuff!
One of the sellers in my area told me they will never get yellow/red/orange (only small parts of the fruit) even if you live them on the tree, and that they are meant to be eaten green. Do you (or anybody else) have any knowledge about this?
@TheAnimalHolocaust Thanks for asking about this because it might not be clear for most people. Yep, in my experience these mangoes do not change color, but they taste amazing and digest like a dream. I eat them when they are slightly soft.
@RobbyBarbaro Thanks. In my area there are not so many kinds of mango like in your area. Within the few we have, Keitt is the best - no competition.
I just want to make it clear, the seller I was referring to is not a farmer. He may have said that only to make me buy his mango after I challenged him about the green color.
@TheAnimalHolocaust As the past owner of a South Florida-based, local tropical fruits business, I can assure you that a tree-ripe Keitt most definitely will turn yellow, orange, and red on the top. A quick check over at Pine Island Nursery's website confirmed this.
That being said, it's still a great mango when picked at the stage that they typically are for commercial purposes. I have about 150 lbs of em ripening up as we speak! =D
awesome

Hi Robby, regarding Keitt mango:
One of the sellers in my area told me they will never get yellow/red/orange (only small parts of the fruit) even if you live them on the tree, and that they are meant to be eaten green. Do you (or anybody else) have any knowledge about this?
Thanks for sharing your produce inventory.

@TaylorsTropicals Thanks, that's makes much more sense. I visited the website and over there there is a pretty large red spot on the top.
