Where did you get your uniform or at least the belt? Nice video. For anyone who doesn't know how to field strip one of these, thats about all my channel is good for.
@budzin303 less than $100 dollars online. shipped to your local ffl prolly come out to 150 max. goooood gun for the money, ammo is cheap and makes a great deer rifle.

@ghilliesniper15 yes, i am aware, but from my point of view i thought they were shooting live ammunition in most of their videos, obviously shooting in a safe direction. oops :P
@BgKnoccoutGangstaDre We do have much more strict firearms control laws than in the USA for example (or most countries I think). Also, reenactors (like these guys) use modified rifles that fire blanks only.
he's shooting blanks so it produces no recoil because theres no gun powder in the blanks there is only a primer so thats why you still see some smoke, this bullet is acutaly worse for your gun since it speeds up corrosion, but like all russian weapons its's reliable, the mosin-nagant has a crome-lined bolt preventing it from corroding from heavy calibers such as the 7.62x39
@TheStroodlebob its not chrome polished steel, blanks do have powder in them the primer wouldn't make that much noise, further more the red cap is wax or card board to hold the powder in
I have a Nagant and the kick isn't that bad cause the rifle is around 8 pounds 14 ounces in weight and the weight helps with recoil and if you brace it tightly against your shoulder it feels more like a shove than a kick just saying.
Something about that model number doesn't seem right... are you sure it's not an 1891/30 (aka M91/30)?
Otherwise great vid, I especially love the costume and music. I'm thinking I'd like to do a complete WW1 setup someday with an M91 and M1895 revolver, but for now I'm looking to compliment my M91/30 with a TT-33 :)

@turkeyforever100 the recoil is from the projectile being pushed out the barrel at high speeds

@ThegreeneyedCoyote yes its a m91/30 theres also many variants of the mosin nagant
m91/3,0 m44, m38, m39 and the 1890 dragoon to name a few the reason its a 1891 is it was made in 1891 remade in 1930 tad-ah 91/30

Nice! you are one of the few luckies to have a Mosin nagant 30 with a hexagon!
i have one aswel, made in 1928. My local gunsmith thinks this one was a dragoon first but was added with the newer 91/30 sights during production.
Also have a Finnish M27 and M91/30 with round reciever. They are so beautifull rifles
