@rinnybu thanks so much! I used anout 6-7 bantu knots. The more you do, the tighter the curl will be. You van always moisturize the hair first with the Hydratherma Naturals Daily Moisturizing growth lotion. thx!

question on the growth lotion: i'm going to be making my purchases of the hydratherma natural products soon and want to make sure i use them correctly.  with the daily moisture lotion, would you recomend putting any on your actual scalp? or should use use a different product for that?

sure you can apply it to the scalp and / or hair. I no longer suffer from dry scalp so I only apply it on my hair. It eventually gets on my scalp anyway. It is very important to be sure that you do apply to your hair ends if you are trying to keep your ends moisturized

If you have kinky -n- curly hair what type are you? I'm having trouble knowing my hair type. But I know when it's wet it's curly but when dry it's kinky. Doesn't lay flat to scalp.

My hair is like that too! If your hair has an tight s pattern it is a 4a and if it is a tight z pattern then it is a 4b. A looser s pattern is in the c cateory

Thanks. I think that you are leaving the roller on the steamer for too long. Try to steam the roller for just 5 seconds then roll immdeiately.

First of all I love your hair!! It looks gorgeous. I also have caruso rollers. I use them after my hair is totally dry to put some nice curl in it. But after I take out the rollers my hair is damp and frizzy and I don't get the nice curls I see a lot of other people get. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks! I'm not really big on the use of blow dryers because the actually blow the moisture out of your hair. I guess doing only the roots won't be so bad as long as you don't do this on a regular basis.

It took me a while to get rollersetting too..lol.. I have not been roller setting my hair with magnetic rollers since this video because i'm transitioning and my new growth is getting a little long. I may do a rod set video...or a flex rod one. macherieamour has a nice video and fotki on roller setting.
