  • Fantastic lesson. Easy to follow and a joy to learn such a cool song. Well done man !! You make a great teacher.... <#=====(=#=:)

  • Thanks Buds, great lesson, great Canadian song!

  • Thanks a lot for this, its sweet, but why dont you play it 1 fret lower so you dont play the open E when making transitions. that one note sounded awful to me.

  • Thanks for this! Very good teaching :) usually they just play it over and over until they think you got it, but you slowed it down, showed what you were doing. Good job!

This song is amazing, I saw it live and was blown away. Love Big Sugar :D Light it up!

  • Thanks for the lesson. I love this song and I will get my guitar and woodshed it.

    What amp/effects are you using?

  • @epistte

I use a POD XT for most of my lessons. Sorry, I can't remember the preset I used (I usually tweak them anyway).

Heavy distortion, even a 'fuzz' pedal in this case. Maybe boost the mids a bit and turn the treble down. I'd say no effects for this song.

  • Great vid, the only thing is that there's actually no C5 chord in the chorus. It just repeats the Eb Bb F Bb F Eb. I know the C is implied by the vocals, and it sounds correct, but if you listen carefully to the song, he's playing Eb.

  • thanks you so much, ive been looking for this for a long time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
