@MrBlueMonday Well, Singapore did play the passing and possesion in attack during the game against malaysia. They actually tried to adopt the style of football very well. However, during the game against china and iraq, Hariss Harun was absent and this prompted the players to launch long balls to Duric's height advantage.

I am sure that when Hariss returns, there will be a much smoother play in terms of going forward as hariss is a very important player who can penetrate the defence line.

I am btw and I can tell you that my beloved gunners didn't create enough chances and had pretty ordinary defenses, which is why they can't win the premier league. You're right in saying that deserving to win and being the winner are different, but in this case the Chinese did play better, and did just enough to win. Hence they won and deserved it.

But if it was a definite penalty and the ref's vision wasn't obstructed, then you can say the ref robbed you of the game. If it was 50-50, well then you're just unlucky. Still I understand if you feel injustice from the ref's decisions, as 2-1 isn't a big scoreline. Though you should just look forward to the next game. Good luck!

We lost the game to the referee not China. We should put our head high up as we are playing against 12 players on the pitch and not 11. If China did not score the second penalty, a third penalty is likely to be given. No bad feeling.... the second penalty is a gift, I think the China players know about it. Overall, there is not much threat from the China team.
