dude, oh my god. I cant believe how amazingly well you put that! jesus fucking christ. not only do I completely agree with that statement, but its sooooooooo true. dude. you rock. thankyou.
I didn't know Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair used Super CD sound! It sounds really good! Now, I know that there was also Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap! for Sega Master System. The way that I can explan this is that there were 2 parts to Wonder Boy III. I can't believe how long the credits music is, but it's also my favorite track.
Actually Monster Lair is only a normal CD-ROM2, one of the very first released. I'd like to say it was the second CD game released (after Fighting Street), but not positive.
I think you mean normal CD-ROM. This game came out in 1989, so CD-ROM2 technology wasn't invented yet. I checked on Sunteam's website on his game and he has a button called "Super CD" for normal CD games. That's why I called it that.
I didn't think there was a difference between CD-ROM and CD-ROM2? I never understood what that 2 meant to begin with, haha. One of those weird Japanese things.
The "2" is more of an upgrade or a sequel of the previous CD-ROM technology...Not that you hadn't figured that out already. I may need to correct what I stated ealier. The button that Sunteam has on his website for Super CD-ROM
is Super CD-ROM, and normal is just CD-ROM. I couldn't find anything about CD-ROM2.
sounds like something out of an 80's or 90's cop movie

hot damn. do you guys remember these days?! what a great time for music in video games...

What's happened to modern video games?!
I miss the days like this, where almost every video game presented the music as another character in the game.
Nowadays, games usually have droning, generic, cloned orchestrated shit in the background.
