WWE was doing fantastic until the Attitude Era ended and they started hiring bodybuilders and lingerie models, nothing to do with the switch to PG.
@hairyrap Yes and to go off with what HeverMetalBeliever said, if they can actually get talent (and they do have some) and a creative team that can make actual good story lines then PG would not be bad. Remember WWE/WWF started out with PG but obviously that was over shadowed by the Attitude Era.

I don't see how people thought this was disrespectful. TNA makes constant references to WWE and could edit them if they wanted too (with the fans) but they don't. Even having Kurt Angle saying "I could go back to the WWE!" And people can talk shit all they want. And everyone saying "TNA cares about wrestling, they'd tell Cena to fuck off" No they wouldn't. wwe doesnt really acknowledge anything really unless what they are acknowledging helps them in some way. thing is wwe isnt the only wrestling company in the industry. theres so many others. tna, roh, AAA, new japan wrestling to name a few. tbf if 2 wrestlers have history from working in another company its better that they do acknowledge that.

@hairyrap With Russo, Hogan and Bischoff? TNA was doing great up until Hogan and Bischoff decided to crash the party, which probably prompted Jim Cornette to leave. WWE was doing fantastic until the Attitude Era ended and they started hiring bodybuilders and lingerie models, nothing to do with the switch to PG.

@hairyrap they have had a couple years already, but over the last years and a half they have been pushing out homegrown TNA talent just to put over EX-WWE employees.
Somoa Joe use to be an unstoppable badass. AJ Styles was the high-flying, pretty-boy prince of the 6-sided ring. Team Canada dominated and Amarica's Most Wanted made amazing moments. The X-Division MEANT something. But now only a handful of the original talent is still there, and hogan eats air time for breakfast.

Also, considering with the recent storyline he is in, I'm hoping I get to see a more sinister side of Cena, which is hopefully the one that completely destroys his opponents before his matches even start. (It's happened on numerous occasions. I love it.)

I know that in the 90's wrestling absolutely NEEDED adult males because at the time that's all that would really watch but like with anything that around that long you need to broaden your fanbase.
