Connect the iPod to your computer and open iTunes. Go under File and click "Sync (name of iPod) and it should fix it.

yeh dude hold the power button and the home button until it goes off let go of the power button keep holding the home button until it comes up with the wire and itunes logo

then backup your ipod (it will ask you on itunes if you want to back it up)

so this is waht i did..

and i know yiou may not like doing this but it works! plug it into your computer.then hold the sleep/off botton and the home button at the same time till it turns off but ignore the slide to turn off part it will turn off auto. then keep holding it when it turns back on and on ur computer press RESTORE! then wait a little while and it will work again

you must have an old firmware, the newer ones if you enter the code wrong once it goes 1 minute, second it goes to 5, third 15, fourth it goes to 60, fifth 60 again, sixth if goes just says ipod disabled please connect to itunes

i dont know if this will work so don't hate me if it doesnt work but try to rebot it here is how to do that: step 1. hold the home and the power button at the same time until it shuts off. step 2. hold the home button while plugging it into your computer (charger) and that should make it work.

turn it off completely! Then plug it into your computer BUT while holding the menu button. do both at the same time and it should restart everything on the ipod completely.

You will have to restore your ipod but all your songs will be erased but thats the only thing that works because thats what happened to mine. Just look up "how to restore ipod/iphone" and find a good video and jus follow the steps.
